This is a great way to give young players the opportunity to experience tournament style play in a non-high-stakes manner. There is great coaching and great opportunity for the young players to learn the game and develop a love and appreciation for it at their own pace.
Kids learn team work, communication skills, play golf with kids from different schools. Stronger players learn to mentor, teach, and coach and leading from the front.
It’s a great for kids to get outside and learn to golf.
The league helps my son apply the golf and life lessons learned during class in a tournament setting. It is also a great step towards more tournament play (and additional preparation for tryouts for his high school golf team).
We had a great experience with the junior league. My kids both developed an enjoyment, and love for golf. We are looking forward to next year!

My child could try something new. Price was very reasonable. Time and duration of program was perfect. Lunch peovised and shirts and hats were also nice!

I think it’s a really great format and I also think it’s a way to make kids view golf as a team sport instead of just a individual sport - if it weren’t for PGA Junior league, I don’t think either of my kids would be golfing - and instead both of them are really enjoying golf
