Great program for youth to learn the game of golf!

My son had a great time and made friends with his whole team. He learned to play with just himself and his partner without any help. His coach, Chad Spencer, did such a great job with all the kids. Regardless of skill level they all had a great time.

Any program that brings kids together to play golf competitively will always get my highest endorsement.
I think this is an excellent program. My son has participated in it at Norwood Country Club with coach Brad Truman. Brad offers multiple practice sessions per week, which helps the kids learn and excel. His program is very competitive and it encourages my son to work hard to get on the all star team. This year due to Brads high participation numbers, my son go on the second all star team and got to participate in the sectionals which was such a nice event and experience. We love that Brad offers this in the fall, spring and winter. We highly recommend his program. The only thing I wish for the program out of Norwood is that the matches weren’t mostly in house. Due to the size of the program, Brad can’t take the kids from course to course regularly which I totally understand. I just sometimes think it’s nice to see the other courses and not just Norwood which can many times be under water after big storms.
My son also participated in the pga Jr league at blue hill country club in the spring with coach Stephen Clancy. This league was less competitive but well run. Unlike the Norwood program, practice was only offered once a week but there were home and away matches. This was a good program for kids of all ages and abilities! We really enjoyed this program as well and are happy our home club offers it!!!

Relaxed atmosphere with emphasis on learning while having fun
The no pressure environment it creates for youngsters to learn the game properly. Teaming them up and playing other courses makes things new and exciting. It keeps the kids engaged while simultaneously teaching good basics and etiquette. I’m a major fan and recommend it all of the time to friends.
We love Mike Rothera! He does such a great job with the kids. Such a well run program.

It’s a wonderful league for kids to play golf and to enjoy themselves. My son had the most wonderful experience playing for PGA. I’m so glad he had this opportunity
