Wonderful way to introduce and play golf for kids. The children learn about the rules and etiquette from the beginning. Also the tournaments all the kids to put into practice what they learn. We love it!

I love the format. Unfortunately this year, there weren't enough teams in the area with enough players so they didn't get to play at many other courses but it was still a great experience. The pros made it work and we appreciate it.

My son absolutely loved his time during practice and the league play. The atmosphere is centered on the kids learning and having fun. As a parent I really enjoyed being able to follow along on the course and watching their skills grow throughout the season.
We liked all aspects of the program. The frequency of practice and matches. The inviting environment was great. It's not geared toward elite level play which creates an atmosphere for every player to succeed.
Schedule in summer is consistent so folks that work can prioritize and for the older players who have a summer job. I love that one day is to work on skills and the other is game time!

PGA Junior league is a great way to get junior golfers engaged at your club!

What I liked about PGA Jr. League
1. The PGA member that ran our program is outstanding, not only as a golf professional but in all aspects of relating to, and instructing children. He adapted his instruction to the level of the team members. He is caring and encouraging and set a great example of how to conduct oneself on the course.
2. I liked the promotion of the team aspect of the PGA Jr. League. The players were always encouraged to support their teammates as well as the players from the other team.
3. I liked the way that the members of the clubs cooperated to make the matches a competitive, yet learning, experience for the players in a very hospitable environment.
The team format of PGA Jr. League makes it such a wonderfully fun way to get kids excited about the game of golf. At the end of the day, golf is a game and it should be fun. Pushing kids early on to score well against the course as individuals can be challenging. Having a partner and team to be part of makes it a much more appealing way for kids to get into the game.

The program was great!! I would love a bit more instruction at the range for the kids. It's great to learn the rules of golf but they need to learn the basics of their swing.
The camaraderie among players, because if my son has fun, he will likely continue to play the game.

Mike was a fantastic coach, we loved the layout of having practices one day per week and then match play a second. Getting to play at Pinehills was an added bonus, this program is so well run, kudos to Mike!
