What I liked about PGA Jr. League
1. The PGA member that ran our program is outstanding, not only as a golf professional but in all aspects of relating to, and instructing children. He adapted his instruction to the level of the team members. He is caring and encouraging and set a great example of how to conduct oneself on the course.
2. I liked the promotion of the team aspect of the PGA Jr. League. The players were always encouraged to support their teammates as well as the players from the other team.
3. I liked the way that the members of the clubs cooperated to make the matches a competitive, yet learning, experience for the players in a very hospitable environment.
The team format of PGA Jr. League makes it such a wonderfully fun way to get kids excited about the game of golf. At the end of the day, golf is a game and it should be fun. Pushing kids early on to score well against the course as individuals can be challenging. Having a partner and team to be part of makes it a much more appealing way for kids to get into the game.
This is a fantastic experience for kids, highly recommended
The program was great!! I would love a bit more instruction at the range for the kids. It's great to learn the rules of golf but they need to learn the basics of their swing.
The camaraderie among players, because if my son has fun, he will likely continue to play the game.

Mike was a fantastic coach, we loved the layout of having practices one day per week and then match play a second. Getting to play at Pinehills was an added bonus, this program is so well run, kudos to Mike!
Our coach is consistently great, year after year! We have loved getting together with other teams in the area to challenge our players and to visit other courses. Fantastic program.

It's a great program. Both of my sons have done it & it has increased their love of the game.
My son loved it. It was a supportive environment to tackle one of the most stressful tasks in sports - teeing off in front of others. Our coach was fantastic and he and his siblings look forward to next year.

My boys had a wonderful experience under the direction of Richard Fagen. It’s without a doubt, one of their highlights of the summer. It’s a competition but kept fun and light. Exactly the way Summer golf should be played.

Such a fun time for my two boys. PGA Jr. League gave the opportunity to play with other kids of different abilities and familiarity. Personally, I loved the opportunity to watch it all happen and to pitch in with etiquette or other nuances of the game sparingly.
Making golf fun but structured is excellent. My youngest son loved it and my two oldest are signing up next year.
