Love the guidance for the kids and the completion
Great format for kids in this age range.
Very well run
My son loved it! This was his first year and he can't wait for next summer. He learned a lot, both from the coaches as well as the other kids. It is great to get them out playing at this age.
Our coach is amazing. My son learned a ton and his golf game improved.
We love our instructors Tim Wihlmenson.

The kids have a lot of fun. Our captain or Pro Mike did a fantastic job with the kids. The events were very organized and kids were fed pizza afterwards. It also teaches the kids the game of golf in a competitive way. Very satisfied with Fox Hollow and being part of their program the last two years.😊
Our girls learned a lot, met new friends and started to really love golf
Lots of things! Weekly practice and play. Team building. Competition.
It was a great time. We loved it! Hoping we can get a group together next year and do the same!
My son loved playing in the league this past summer!
A great way to get the kids involved even if they aren’t very seasoned
great way for older kids to mentor younger kids.
A great way to get kids into learning the game of golf! We love it.
We love that it's a fun team concept. Because there are two people on each shot the kids don't get nervous. This was our daughters first year playing and being on the team really sparked her love for golf. There were six other girls on the team. They started meeting and playing together outside of pga jr league. My wife and I have loved watching all this happen.
I like how beginners can contribute right away.
It’s fun for the kids!!!
The PGA Jr. League program in our area is a wonderful way for parents to have their children participate in a sport that can involved children at varied age levels. The kids learn golf etiquette, patience, and positive reinforcement for their efforts. It was the one activity my husband and I enjoyed bringing the kids to over the summer. It also gives children an appreciation for our beautiful golf courses while striving to connect with nature.
The tournaments with your son and the opportunity for him to learn the game of golf with kids his same age.
The skills, confidence and discipline taught by the league transfers into other aspects of a child’s life.
The team component and competition. I would recommend adding 6 matches rather than 4. The interest is their to have a max of 18 players on a team.
Coach Mike
The kids love the format of play and playing on a team.
My son had a blast playing golf this summer with the PGA Jr. League. His coaches, Jon and Tim, did a fabulous job! First name removed's golf game improved so much and was very honored to represent Oneka Ridge in the All Star game too. Thanks for a great season!
Less competitive atmosphere than Jr PGA events. My son really liked the team-based philosophy, helping one another with identifying the best lie for the next shot, etc. it also was fun to win as a group vs individually.
Getting kids out golfing
It was great to see the kids encourage their teammates throughout the matches. It was also important to meet other golfers parents. It’s an opportunity to get involved in the golfing community for the kids that will hopefully create a desire for them to continue the game of golf.

Overall it’s a great program. It’s fun as a parent to be able to watch them compete. It’s also fun to visit the other local courses.
There would be more participation if the matches were a different day/time. Saturday nights in the summer are a bit hard. Our coaches didn’t attend our away matches - which made jt difficult sometimes. Then the parents have to be coaches and the kids get more frustrated.
