Very organized and well run, great activity for these kids!
They learn the game of golf in a a fun way and get to meet new kids. They get to see what a little competitive golf looks like and get to work together as a team.
Challenges kids to work as a team not as individual players
Our teams coach was FANTASTIC and my son had a great time playing with new friends.
Fun atmosphere and great to play other courses
Super chill. Great learning environment for beginners.
The coaches are great, make friends. Best ball is less stress than individual play.
Great program, kids have fun, get professional instruction, while learning sportsmanship.
Highly recommend!
It's great for building both golf skills and competitive drive, but in a fun, team - based environment. Our coaches in particular focus on the "fun first" aspect of the game. Both my daughters play, and both have made great friends and had great experiences in the league.
fantastic introduction to Match play while keeping it fun and letting them see other kids near their age hit the ball.
Jody, the coach is awesome!!! Loved that they practiced so much!!!
We appreciated the great coaching. It was valuable to have our child surrounded by players of all levels. She can see the potential and it motivates her. We overall loved the program and opportunity to play matches at various courses.
Kids get the ability to enjoy golf, with a little competition, but get to play with a team mate.
The matches with friends.
Chris Baisch was awesome at Hazeltine!!
Great opportunity to learn the game and compete in a team sport. Thanks!
Seeing the excitement in the kids!
Team and skill building. Great way to get kids into golf.
It was a great program! My son really enjoyed it!
Great format for the kids to learn to play golf.
Promotes competition and camaraderie at the same time. My son loved it and wants to play more
Great way to get a younger kid learning and excited without too much pressure.
Teaches kids about golf. History, etiquette, skills, etc.
Also good for them to learn to interact with other kids and adults. It's a life-long sport.
1. The format is exceptional. It provides engagement and teamwork in a sport that is traditionally very individual. It also allows for focus on the positive shots rather than the mistakes as a young player develops. This creates more encouragement and fun.
2. The jerseys. They provide an experience that teaches responsibility and engagement. It also allows for individual personalities. The players select their number for all different types of reasons.
3. The league season. There are the right number and frequencies of events. This provides commitment without overcommitting. It allows for additional golf if that’s desired through lessons, playing with parents or friends, or practice sessions. It also allows for enough exposure and participation if the player wants to spend time doing other things - vacations, baseball or other sports, family & friends, lake time, etc.
It’s is the perfect way to introduce the game of golf to kids. It is truly a fun program where the kids learn the rules & etiquette of golf while having fun. It is good for the kids to see bad strikes are part of the game, but you can still have a successful round.
The weekly practices have been excellent for working on all aspects of the physical game, driving, chipping and putting.
great environment for the kids to learn the game of golf.
Great way to build confidence and teamwork to know fully how to play golf and use etiquette!! Great experience.
Fun, team spirit, learning about golf etiquette and rules
This program is a great way to introduce young golfers to the sport and teach them all about the game, etiquette and sportsmanship!
The coach that brought the program to our club (Jody Christensen at Medina Golf & CC in MN) is the 100% manifestation and example of the spirit of the program. She brought the program to our Club 7 years ago. We had one small-fish team the first year, now we have four 13U teams and one 17u team!
She has been the best ambassador for the sport and the program.
If you have some means of recognizing coaches and teachers that go above and beyond for this program, she would be a most deserving recipient of such recognition!
Thanks for the development of this program - it has been enjoyed by our whole family!

Appreciated the coaching very much, and the pace of play/learning/moderate level of competitiveness was nice for our summer experience. Thank you for offering the program.
