Consumer Testimonials
Coach Todd at Queenstown is great. We had a great experience and will be doing it again next year
Format for competition among young players is good. Love that teams, even though competing, are often encouraging and cheering on their competitors.
Great hands on experience. My son learned a lit. Also gave him experience in competition. Excellent instructors.
great opportunity to teach the game to my son.
one recommendation/request for you: in the form to register, will you please change the answer options of "race" to account for mixed race applicants - either through checking more than one box or add a box that says mixed race? I've filled out hundreds of forms at this point for my kids and its rare for me to see forms such as yours that don't give the opportunity to list that they are mixed race. We are proud of our kids African American and Caucasian heritages, and it feels weird to select just one. Thanks for considering.
Kids of various ages and skill levels get to compete in a learning environment.
Promote team work and leadership.
Great home course of Birdwood and staff!
Laid back approach to golf. Other leagues are uptight and too serious
I like to tell people PGA Junior League is like rec. While the other leagues is like club sports
My daughter has the opportunity to play golf with people her own age.
I like that my son gets to play in a fun, competitive environment and has fun!
The opportunity for kids to learn and appreciate the full game of golf, opportunity to meet new people and travel to gain new experiences.
The sportsmanship of the competition. The way the kids help each other even though they are competing against each other.
Great introduction, less pressure on the kids to perform
We love Jr PGA. Our sons have learned so much about the game, but also etiquette, leadership, and sportsmanship.
Such an excellent program and Rich Setter at Hog Neck Golf Course in Easton, MD was a wonderful leader and great role model for the players. Awesome experience!
Weekly practice and matches.
Our coach and the team aspect.
Very good venue for kids starting out playing.
The coach is fantastic. The facilities are very nice. The commitment is good. The uniforms and merch is great.
It was fun! My son enjoyed meeting new kids. It was a chance to play golf but it wasn’t as serious as tournament play
Coaching is great kids learn the game as well as sportsmanship
It was a good, non-judgemental environment for my novice kids to learn to play 9 holes of golf. Having played o Sundays at PGS Jr Golf made it much easire to play a full round during the summer. My son enjoyed it!
Sportsmanship/competition.
Great opportunity for kids to learn the game while also competing. I just wish there were more public options for those families who cannot afford to join private golf clubs. In our area, there is only one public option, and the private clubs require membership in order to join the junior league.
The team aspect is important for my grandson.
Local league, great coaches and awesome facility!
Great deal and the players have lots of fun and make good friends.
Great opportunity for kids to play golf on a regular basis in a fun competitive atmosphere.
Great learning program and great communication. Nice to see other golf courses and those that are private.

It was an excellent experience. My son had a great time.
