PGA Jr. League is a wonderful introduction to the world of golf for juniors. Specifically, our team - Michelle Holmes School of Golf in Virginia Beach, boasts a dynamic program that promotes skill, comradery and best of all; lessons that will serve these young people well beyond the course. The best part of the PGA jr league was my son’s ability to be on a team of other golf loving kids who push themselves to improve. They were challenged on the skills for sure. But even more so on how to conduct themselves professionally, with respect for the game and eachother. They learned what it means to represent their club and have pride. Their endurance improved both physically and emotionally.
PGA Jr. League is a great way to start playing golf competitively without it being too competitive.
Having other kids for son to play with
Teamwork concept and building on the fundamentals of golf!
This has been such an awesome experience for our son. He has really developed his game and confidence. The staff is amazing, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Looking forward to more league play!
The feeling of community.
I like the coaches that work so hard to not only teach the sport of golf, but also teach life skills, and encourage the players. A few exceptional coaches are with the Prince George’s County League- Elvie Soeprapto, Jasmine McDuffie, and the coaches for the UMD league!

The organization and everyone involved.

I love PGA JR. League for my kids to improve their game and relationships with their fellow players even the parents and the coaches and staff. So I give a 10 for their good performance and I really recommend for my friends, colleagues, coworkers and relatives to those who are interested their children to come and join this amazing program.
My son absolutely loved the PGA jr. league. In just one summer session he improved upon his skills greatly and wants to continue to advance more in the program
It was a great introduction to competitive golf for my son and really got him addicted to the sport. My wife and I don't actually play, so this was perfect. He received excellent coaching, was able to build some great friendships, and as a parent it was a surprisingly fun spectator sport. He's now a golf fanatic.
A great way to make golf a team sport and encourage young, developing players. My kiddo had a great time and learned a lot. It was a supportive and encouraging environment.
My son enjoyed his time with the coaches, they were very helpful with working on skills and created a fun environment.
