Good programming, good coaches and a good experience (COVID-19 notwithstanding) for the kids.
Foster's a good atmosphere for beginner's. However, for more advanced Jr.'s I would say that they need to get into state tournaments etc. Travel teams do not really exist in the pga jr's...and it needs to.

The coaching and experience to play with others on the course
PGA Jr. League was a great program. My daughter is on the younger side and this was her first year playing in the league. I was worried that it might be too challenging for her. But the way the teams were balanced and the scramble game format made it fun and very accessible, even for a novice player. We had a great time. The coaches were wonderful. All around a great program!

I like playing with friends and doing tournaments made for juniors and meeting new people and the tensity when it gets real I love the memory’s so I know when I’m older I have a great past with tones of friends.
I want to thank Coach Gabi Miller. Coach communicated with the parents really well with regards to planning for practices and matches this season with COVID-19 in mind. She made sure the kids were safe at all times. Coach made practices and matches fun. My son's game improved so much this year and I have Coach Gabi to thank for that. I think PGA Jr League is an outstanding concept and something my daughter enjoys ver much. My only negative feedback has to do with the course that ran the league which was 1757 in Ashburn, VA. I want to be clear that the program leader (Scott Holmes) and the rest of the coaches were outstanding. Unfortunately the general manager of the course prioritized adult play over the JT league which resulted in very late tee times (particularly in the spring). My daughter was never able to finish one of her spring matches due to darkness and most times they only made it through 7 holes. It is unfortunate that the course acted as the purpose of the jr league is to grow the game in the long term. We intend to continue PGA Jr League but we will be looking for a different course.
