The scramble format enables kids of all levels to compete and not get as discouraged if they hit bad shots. It’s a good way to get built in golf time for people that would need to find a way to fit it in otherwise.

Kids learning about golf
My son liked his instructors no doubt about that. A big part of the Jr. League was exposing him to competition. I would take my son on the course and he would try, but he didn't understand the importance of each shot as he played against me.
Once he played against competition, he understood the short game was extremely important instead of taking out the driver. Before the PGA Jr. League, I could get him on the driving range as he wanted to hit the big dog. After playing in the matches, he came up to me and asked if we can go to the course to practice just chipping and putting. He always found that aspect of the game boring until he entered competition.
He can't wait to sign up again for future leagues.
The coaches were kind and gave great feedback to the kids. My daughter really enjoyed playing and learned a lot.

Scramble format, team events
PGA Jr was an incredible experience for our boys. We have a 10 year old and 7 year old. Each child increased their knowledge of golf, increased their skill in golf and increased the fun in golf.
Thank you Coach Brandon! Coach Brandon and his staff did a wonderful job this summer with our boys. We have attended other golf camps in the area and this by far has been the best experience for our children. We hope to come back next year! We know it fills up fast so we will be waiting patiently for registration and sign up quickly. Thanks again for a wonderful summer of golf.
