This is a great opportunity to expose Jrs to the game of golf. I like that it is low pressure and allows the kids to learn without being pushed to 'keep pace' on the course. Pace of play is certainly important but when kids are learning being rush creates frustration.
Pinecrest was Amazing! Craig ran the program so fluidly and was organized with emails, dates and print outs. My son learned a lot and had a blast. This was the first season we did it here and we’ll be back.
Crystal lake country club’s PGA we’ve done for several years and it’s never as organized or fluid. We do it because the location and my daughter has a friend to golf with or we’d move her too.
Love the match play and the format of playing a round with a teammate.

This was my sons first year . He participated at Boone Creek Golf Club in McHenry, IL . I was the best experience. Once a week practice and the weekly matches was amazing! The golf professional Rob and his staff are top notch. My son learned a great deal about golf and his new found love for the game . We will definitely be back next year.

We loved that the kids were able to actually play on 2 different courses. It really helped them realize their strengths and weaknesses.
Overall it was good. Instruction days were good, kids got focused instruction.
What I did not like is the lack of guidance during the matches. The Jr. Coaches that were accompanying the group's did very little to help them and keep the matches moving. Only 1 during the entire session did that and it made that match finish on time and the kids learned and enjoyed the match more because of it.
It’s a good opportunity to learn the rules and get out and play. It also allows the kids to see different courses that they may not otherwise play.

Coach Brandon at Village Greens does a great job with the program! My son enjoys it every summer.
I appreciate that the kids learn the proper rules and etiquette of the game. But everything is in a format that isn’t intimidating to the kids and allows every match to be competitive and gives either team the chance to win.

The coaches at Mistwood are amazing! They’re all so patient, kind, and take the time to interact with my son. My child meet new friends while improving his golf game. It was great that he could experience different golf courses too. This program is definitely at 10!
