It was good for kids of all abilities. And the parents got to bond with their kids as they got better through the season.
Our coach, Head Pro Charlie Kane at Foxford Hills Golf Course in Cary, IL, makes it fun for all the kids. Mixing up playing partners each week, teaching a particular skill then having fun competitions, even relaxing the cost of range balls so kids can practice as much as they like.

The kids are introduced to competitive golf without it being too high pressure - playing in a better ball/scramble format. Also, I liked how non-playing teammates were encouraged to walk with players and discuss strategy.
