I have been purchasing your bicycle maintenance/repair services for years (and purchased one new bike as well) and have always appreciated your fine work at a fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend that others do the same.
From my perspective there is one thing you could do to make your bicycle maintenance/repair service even more attractive. When your business was Mort'ls Sports, if I recall correctly, part of their advertising/marketing message was that if you dropped your bike off for repair/service, it would be turned around quickly, typically within a couple of days. As someone who rode my bike to work daily, that was an attractive proposition - I would only be without the bike for maybe a couple of days. While the wait for my bike this year was in fact less than 48 hours, that was an outlier. Historically, there has been a wait of three to seven days or more. On a number of occasions I had asked if I could be placed in a queue of, say 100 bicycles that were ahead of me in line. I didn't mind waiting my turn; I just wanted to wait with my bike at home and not stacked up in a queue at the shop. This is what happens at an auto-repair shop. You don't usually drop your car off and have it sit on the lot for four to 7 days before it is pulled in and serviced - they plan their work to limit your car's sitting on their lot to typically a day or so. I had asked that I receive a call when the number of bicycles in the queue was such that my wait time wouldn't be more than two days, and preferably less than one day (like would happen at your typical auto-service shop). The first time I tried this, I never got a call at all after a considerable wait of I I think seven or more days, so I called back (it is possible that the queue was so large that the call was yet coming, but I suspect I had been overlooked) and brought the bike down. After dropping the bike off, the wait was so long, in frustration I asked to pick it up again if you couldn't get to it within a reasonable amount of time. I had seriously considered running to Escanaba to get the work done if they could schedule an appointment to do it while I waited. So, despite trying over a number of years (post-Mortl), to limit the loss of the bike to around 48 hours, it just never seemed to work out. Then this spring, your shop did turn it around within 48 hours. Thank You.

Sport and Spoke carry name brand merchandise like Kuhl and Goodr sunglasses. Went in for a ski tune up and ended up finding a pair of Kuhn’s on sale. Service is almost always same day.
