Coach Testimonials
Love everything about the format and the idea of it. The problems I have are:
1) There needs to be some sort of expedited process for getting shirts and other stuff for juniors. Often times we can't get a team together until June, by which time we won't get the shirts in time. I am still waiting for half my teams shirts.
2) Getting clubs to committ to days and times to play.
It gets the Juniors involved in the game!
Great way to promote golf to kids
It's great to get kids of all skills level playing with one another and encouraging one another. It helps the better players grow as we can put them in different situations and it always can help the beginner.
Great experience nothing to change from my perspective.
All that it provides for kids, families, and coaches. Fun competition for the kids, families love watching their kids play, and satisfying for the coaches.
So much support from our PGA staff, always prompt responses which leads to quick troubleshooting if any issues arise, and not to mention a really fun time with the juniors in the best format to be able to make sure they love the game.
The uniforms and numbers and names on the back
The amphitheater effect that allows the parents in carts to watch their kids
Being able to teach the Rules Of Golf and etiquette in a no pressure environment for the first time in the golfing industry in my opinion in a tournament environment
The flags because we use that to determine our MVP
This is one of the most brilliant programs for Junior Golf intro tournaments I’ve ever seen
Job well done Pga
By offering Jr League, I've been able to consistently add new students, start developing on-course experience, and increase participation in my Junior Academy.
I have been running PGA Junior League since 2015 and the popularity of the idea is really growing with our families. The kids get to play other great courses in our area. The parents are excited to see their kids out competing. Its a win win for everyone. Our facility hosted the first Family Cup 9 hole event just yesterday and the parents loved it more than the players. Golf is a game we all can pass down to another generation and events like yesterday prove that. So many of our first season parents are so impressed with what this is all about. Kudos to everyone involved.
Perfect forum for learning, competing and learning the values of working as a team. The camaraderie among the juniors is so great to see!
Great introduction to competitive golf. Fun aspect with teamwork and communication at the forefront. Gives kids the opportunity to experience competitive golf at different courses and make new friends along the way.
The juniors developing a sense of competitiveness while meeting other players and learning how to play together.
I like that all levels can participate in the same program
Watching the kids and coaches work together on a team.
Getting kids playing golf in a fun environment
PGA Junior League is an incredible program that helps all golf professionals expand and build their instruction programs, increase revenue and it's just a wonderful way to have fun in a team environment. Most definitely will recommend the PGA Junior League. This year's new uniforms my kids just loved so keep up the good work!
It’s organized efficient. Everything‘s pre-done. The marketing collateral is great and the kids have a great time.
Provides opportunity for players with all skill level a chance to compete.
I like the team aspect of PGA Jr. League. I love the jerseys. I feel that really makes the kids feel special!
the kids learning how to play golf in a fun setting
PGA Jr League is another avenue to bring junior golfers together. The 2 man team concept is a great way to foster camaraderie and junior leaguers mature into young adults a faster rate.
It creates a family environment at the Club, which then makes it possible to have player development programs for other family members. Our PGA Junior league program has led to an increase of 55 persons in our player development programs.
Also it is fun and rewarding to watch the young ones develop golf and life skills.
It’s a great way to get kids into golf. It teaches life lesson skills, while building confidence, decision making and sportsmanship.
Great program for juniors and families.
I love watching the kids improve and love the fact that we are getting everyone on the course in a low pressure fun way!
Young golfers coming together on a team. Way to get newer players playing on the course in a less stressful way. Also at for better players to push themselves and integrate more fun into their play. FUN is the underlying theme!
The team aspect and getting to know the families and kids over the course of the summer

Everything. Best initiative PGA does.
