The format and team concept. The growing and improving during the season. The parents have fun at the matches. Kids get to know new golfing kids.
Such a fun program, especially in our section. If you can get a few other facilities to get into a league with and have matches it is so beneficial to the kids. The parents seem to have more fun then the kids do when their son / daughter hit a good shot. Very rewarding program
It is a great introduction to golf for the junior players, getting to play with a teammate, and visiting other local clubs.
Great introductory program for beginners and the team concept provides comradery as well.
Watching the kids grow their abilities and love for the game. Also the comradery and friendships that they gain from the program.
It is one of the few programs that checks every box when it comes to making people happy on the golf course.
Facility is happy b/c it brings in revenue both directly through the league fees and indirectly through other sales.
Professional is happy b/c it makes them reasonable compensation as well as gives them the ability to coach.
Parents are happy b/c it gives them the ability to see their kids in action on the course on game days.
Kids are happy b/c it allows them to compete but not feel defeated if they hit a bad shot as they have a partner to lean on.
WIN - WIN - WIN - WIN
It was a great way to work with juniors and make golf fun and engaging.
The fun and excitement it brought to the game of golf.
Great way to grow the game and membership at your course
Best thing the PGA has ever done.
It's such a great program and very easy to market to families looking for an opportunity to play and belong a club while establishing relationships that last a lifetime. The kids not only learn how to play the game but also respect, honor and sportsmanship and making new friendships along the way. This impacts not only the family but has incredible impact on the community. Kids just love the competition and playing some different courses throughout the city.
I like the website and the ease of function and communication. All the backend stuff to make my job easier. I also like the format and being able to customize our program. I think in my region the price is a little high for some family's to participate at $295 total-for the coaches fee and pga fee. Overall this program has replaced the junior program and has been a success.
Building a team atmosphere to get juniors into the game.
Course play for juniors and relationship building
PGA Jr. League is a great way to introduce competition and match play to juniors in a low stress environment. You teach what it means to work with a team and solve problems together. And when you put your own twist on it, and give the juniors a little bit of ownership in the decisions, they have a lot of fun with it.
Atmosphere. Now the new shirts every year
The kids have a great time and learn skills working with teammates. The parents are given time to bond with their children. All in all, a great time
Connection with the kids and flexibility in programming.
Getting the kids on new courses and introducing them to an early form of competitive golf. It also helps them learn and for me to teach them golf etiquette.
Big fan of Jr League.
Watching the kids having fun and playing in friendly competitions. All the families getting to enjoy the day on the course.
Team competition and teaching juniors the importance of golf etiquette
Getting the kids more involved in the game and having fun with it
Building relationships with families and creating an environment for players to create new friendships.
Community. Watching new friendships blossom
And existing ones strengthen. The competitive element but more than that, the etiquette lessons and the chance to learn that fun is paramount. Also- a great chance to teach positive pace of play!
It’s a fun and relaxed way for new young golfers get introduced to the game. It’s some what competitive but as a team event it makes it more enjoyable for the kids. Also parents love it and my parents are always watching and walking the course with them. A win win !!!
Great format, fun way to get kids on the course!
Power of making the program and shaping it to what's best for the kids.

Just a fun way to get families involved in the game and you never know where a kid might take it!
