My husband and I love the sense of community and all of the programs offered. We also enjoy the bus trips!
It is local so easy to visit, so far nice and quiet environment. The only issue I have is that there weren't enough cleaning supplies out to clean off machines after or before work out. I really feel if you are a gym you need to have proper cleaning supplies for people to use.
Staff is friendly and equipment is in good condition.

Needs an elevator and coffee machine; otherwise all is great: staff, classes, etc. Glad I joined!

The investment in the weight room is coming together nicely. The separation of equipment, new cable machine, dead lift area, and barbells are fantastic.

A large variety of programs for everyone's needs. Also, the staff is A1.
Everyone is very helpful and friendly. Even if an instructor cannot make their class, they try to find a substitute so that we can continue to exercise. The staff is very diversified and is able to help in many different ways so that you may become a healthier you.
I have made several friends among members, and the Hillcrest Y staff has been competent and eager to help.
I mostly use the pool, which seems to be much cleaner over the past few weeks. Sometimes the water is just too warm for actual swimming (I do 40 - 50 laps). I'd like it MUCH cooler, maybe 81-82 degrees, but I understand that many users just stand there and some have arthritis.... but anything over 86 degrees is ridiculously warm.
They meet with my schedule time very well. The Instructors are very knowledgeable in the field of training to help us get a great workout. 👍
I hate to exercise, but I love the aquafit class and I am now participating in this 3 times per week. It is so much fun and I have met some very nice people.

I do water exercises. The water is always delightfully warm. The times are convenient for me and close to home.
Wide variety of classes to choose from.

Like the Arthritus water exercise class. The normal exercises and yoga are too difficult since my two total knee replacements
