I love all the senior classes. The instructors are caring and knowledgeable and make exercise fun. I attend 7 classes per week and feel healthier and stronger for doing so.
This has been the best thing for me and my daughter. I love taking her to tumbling!
I'm enjoying the Fitness after 50 classes and have even tried to learn pickelball. Most of the other players are welcoming and generous with tips to help me improve.
Great people there
The variety of offerings and the program instructor 's
I do not do your programs, I like the open gym
I am 82 years old and try to workout at the Y three days a week. A good variety of workout machines are available. The facility is extremely clean a well managed. Members are of all ages and friendly. This is one of the best comprehensive exercise facilities in Lorain county. With the workout equipment, track, exercise pool, lap pool, and all of the special programs it cannot be beat.
Place is very clean and employee friendly and
excelent day trips
We love our y.
Cleanest Y I have been in and the staff is very help full.
The equipment is very good. Great classes and training.
I love everything!
AOA = active older adults
I joined because I had friends playing & learning PickleBall, but found a lot of other activities.
The wet/spa area is good for me & aching joints after a workout.
The workout floor & track upstairs are nice too; treadmills & ellipticals I utilize also.
everything
Water exercise classes. Open swim time. Hot tub and sauna.
It is friendly, clean, programs are affordable and a great variety of activities.
Wide variety
Individual swimming lessons for my kids was great, but only when they had instructors available. We had Hannah & she was amazing before she left for college.
7-8 yr old basketball is great. Very good facilities. I like how we practiced for a couple sessions until the games came. I think the colored wristbands are a great idea with guarding. At first I thought 9 foot hoop height was too high for 7-8 yr olds but they got used to it. Hannah ram a great program & was very good at stopping kids from time to time to coach the kids.

The people!!!
Everyone is so helpful and the programs and trips are “current “! Always fun!
The philosophy of learning and having fun. Nice variety to peek all interests.
The programs are consistent. My older son has played in the Jr Cavs league for a few years and has had the same coach the entire time. I feel consistency is a good thing, especially when it comes to kids and being familiar with their teammates and coach. I now have two kids in the Jr. Cavs league.
I am not a member of the YMCA, but am very intrigued to join due to all the programs the Y puts on.
Heather (who runs the Jr Cavs league) has done a great job with responding back to questions I've had throughout the season. We see her constantly at the games. She seems very hands on which has it's positives.
I feel very lucky to have access to all the AOA classes & yoga. My dr recommend yoga to help with back pain. All the instructors are wonderful.
This is our first year participating in the Jr. Cavs basketball league. I have seen growth in both my sons, one who plays in the 5-6 league and the 7-8 league. The coaches, specifically in the 5-6 league have done so much to make it a positive and inclusive experience for my son. Additionally, Hannah the director really tries to enforce the values of the YMCA and promote sportsmanship and skill-building over winning.
My son is in JR. Cavs and the program is run very well. I appreciate the emphasis on values that the kids are learning and the simple fun of learning and playing basketball. The entire theme and system is done very well.
Staff are awesome!
Hannah was super easy to work with. The courts were clean and there was plenty of space for the kids to run! We will definitely be back next season!
