Variety.
The second floor work out area including the EGYM, weight room, bikes, treadmills and the machines along the pool wall are so inviting to all for individual use. The active older adults classes are welcoming and inclusive. Schedules for programs and classes are always posted on a
large board . The availability for personal trainers is also easily accessed on the second floor also.
French Creek offers such a dynamic senior program, day, multi days, and international trips. It has given us a whole new family!
Pool exercise classes with joyful instructors. Land classes for every ability of person. Wonderful, educated instructors that appear happy to help us reach our fitness goals. Trips for seniors galore that are fun. There’s so much to explore at the Y!

I like how CLEAN the French Creek YMCA is compared to other locations.
Variety of classes and activities
I like the classes over 50 with both Amanda on Monday’s and Jessica on Friday mornings. The classes are much fun good exercise and both Amanda and Jessica make me laugh.
Everything ,loctation,staff,New equipment,and all you need for a gym,swiming Pool,bike room cardio..i could keep saying stuff all Day,very good gym
Fabulous opportunities for active older adults.
I do Silver Sneakers. It is a good workout and gets me up and out of the house to improve my fitness level.
Convenient with great trainers
I've only participated in 2 different group classes so far, but people have been friendly and welcoming.
I dont use the programs yet so really cant comment now. I utilize the hot tub and sauna periodically
I only use the free swim time in the recreation pool to do PT under water, and the spa afterward. I'm more than happy with the cleanliness of the Y.

Yoga and group exercise programs
Great Atmosphere! Awesome staff! Lots of equipment! Some should be updated as they have been used for quite awhile.
I really don’t do much differently on a daily basis. What I do is the stationary bike for 45 min to an hour at a good pace. The machine says I go around 12.5-13 miles and burn around 375 to 390 calories. After my exercise I go in the Sauna and if it’s not available I go to the Westlake Rec Centers Sauna. I have reduced my weight considerably and maintaining a good blood pressure. As I check it daily. According to my last yearly check up, my Dr informed me I lost 35 lbs since last year. And I will continue on my regular routine. I may have a few misses once in awhile but not many.
I love the e-gym, choice of cardio machines, indoor track, and the Move 2 Lose program. Jordyn is extremely kind, helpful, and supportive.

We’ve had a great experience since joining! We would love even a paid “drop in” option for ninja class. It’s hard to commit with other activities and were sad when it transitioned to open gym to only monthly sign up.
