Good group exercise classes.

The facility is SUPER clean! I work out by myself with no programs or activities, so I really can't say anything more.
Gail's aquacise class is terrific! I'm also enjoying the Women & Free Weights class and will sign up & pay for another month.
Great selection
I must keep active and going to classes in Elyria all week is best for me. At home I am busy but not actual workout.
Easy to get to and very easy to work with….!
Lots of different programs and activities to choose from, very diverse things to try out like dancing or even knitting group. The exercise classes range from easy to intense but are always fun and welcoming
Avon YMCA he's the most cleanest YMCA in Cuyahoga county. Yes I do recommend this to my friend because they keep it very clean and nice. And the other YMCA are not as clean dirty but the YMCA in Avon scale 1. Out of 10 I rated a 9 plus. And also the people are friendly
I like that there is a variety of programs and classes to choose to attend.
I appreciate that there are activities for people of all ages. Personally, I enjoy the chair yoga classes that help older adults like me work on their mobility, flexibility and balance. Weight training is also an activity I like to do because it helps me build strength and minimize muscle loss that is so common in old age. The hot pool, dry sauna and whirlpool are an asset and since I have arthritis they are my good friends because they help to keep my joints moving. Thank you for the opportunity and for listening.
Danielle (Chair Yoga), Phyllis (Strength and Balance, Tap Dance, Tai Chi), Jessica (Silver Sneakers), Brittney (Cardio Dance), Martha (Strength and Balance), and Amanda (AOA Fitness & Strength, BOOM) have good classes. The addition of hiking group (Jordyn) has been a good fall addition to get us outside in milder weather. Other classes and programs are rather numerous, although it has not been relevant or practical for me to go to most of these. The building is generally clean as usual. The coffee bar is a nice addition although the supply can run low or out fairly easily. First name removed
I have been a member of the French Creek YMCA since 2010, when I retired. The Y is for every member of your family.
As a senior, you can work out on the machines and keep to yourself, if you so prefer. There are open swim times and water work out classes.
In the gym, other classes are offered from less challenging chair yoga, and Arthritis range of motion exercises, to the quicker BOOM and ZUMBA.
You may participate in group classes, meet new friends, share in the camaraderie, go on bus trips, share in the experiences of various trips around our country, or travel abroad in the safety and security of a group you know.
If you are currently unable to afford the membership cost, ask about scholarships. The Y doesn't want to turn away anyone who wants to join us. Lest I forget, if you have Medicare Advantage, ask your carrier if they cover the cost of a Y membership. Come; join the fun. You are welcome here.

We have been long-time members at the AVON YMCA. As a family we spend so much time here and it is really like a second home for us. Our kids enjoy coming here and we feel good knowing they are well taken care of while we focus on our health!
Love the Y!
I love the competition pool
Classes
Clean and well maintained facilities.
I love the friendships I've made and the community that has been built around it. The staff is always nice and as helpful as they can be though they could probably use a little bit more training to be fair. The facility is always clean and comfortable and I really value that. Lastly I love the silver sneakers program.
Wish we could have more deep water exercise classes instead of just once a week. I wish Tuesday mornings could have another water class in the rec pool.
Would it be possible to mix up the hot tub cleaning schedule. There are seven days in the week.
Closing it off on Tuesday's limits the time clients that only use that on certain days.
The time slots for classes are well thought out. Great yoga instructors.
Open pickleball
I enjoy the Aquatic Aerobics class with the instructor Gail.
Wish they would not have the air conditioner on so cold. Especially this time of year.

They are very varied….something for everyoney
