They have everything you need
Cardio and exercise equipment. Friendly staff.
The classes that are taught by Tom are great. My balance is improving and I am really enjoying the yoga class. On Fridays I go to the weight room.
I am excited that my grandson is enjoying the soccer game with the ymca, for the first time, I am so proud of being there To cheer for him, and give him a positive sense of humor and keep up with his goals!
Senior activities, senior trips & Eliot Perez.
Eliot!!!! and now pickleball - thanks for listening!!!
I like the MD ANderson Y because of it's proximity and location. I am disappointed in the fact that the management removed cardio machines (upright stationary bikes and stairmaster) and have not replaced them. This was done without any real notice to members who use that equipment regularly (I am there daily). And when you ask staff, they don't have any clues about when replacements (if any) are coming.
I am considering looking fo a different place to work out in the morning unless there is some feedback and postings about when we can expect replacement equipment.
I really enjoy the Y and the people at the Y, but you need to upgrade the cardio equipment, replace the ones that you took out without notice, and be more transparent with the people who are there every morning on the equipment.
Thanks.

I like the exercise classes for Seniors. Would like to see the trips we Seniors used to take before COVID again .
I enjoy the pool 🏊‍♀️ and wish it was open longer. Classes with Eliot are inspiring…we need more of them!
We enjoy working out in the pool. 🏊🏼‍♀️🏊
Because of Sr. Exercises that are available. It's not far for me to drive.Alot of us don't drive very far from our homes.
Used to have many Senior trips; hoping for them.
Enjoy Eliot P. and his classes.
The swimming program. Taking them on field trips. Keeping them active through the summer
All I do is swim and I normally swim at Tellepsen but I do love the outside pool so I'll probably continue to come to Anderson some of the time
Nice staff. Love the pool!
Would like to see a variety of Forever Well exercises. Doing the same exercises are not only redundant but don't target all parts of the body.
The YMCA has wonderful programs for all. I love all the morning activities by Tom & Eliot. The pool area needs more chairs and less recliners in the area. Tables need to be repaired that are lying on the side of the building. More water aquatic programs would be great. I feel that the more classes that are offered the more people will want to join our Y.
The office staff is very short staffed and communication amongst staff and members is very limited. It is difficult when there is onlly one person up front, checking in and out children, answering phones, greeting people & trying to enroll new members. The website needs work & does not give you prices, dates nor times for upcoming swimming classes and there is no way of knowing if the pool will be open on a day that looks like it may rain or not.
It is also a loss to our children that our large nice baseball field is not being used by ball teams.
Yoga, swimming, and exercise equipment
Always fun and lively!
Kids Swim lessons.... still taking more over summer
Eliot Perez his classes are awesome. The front desk personnel in the evenings is the BEST.
MD ANderson is close and convenient. The staff is helpful and friendly.
The YMCA has been great to my family. I have always loved all of the exercise classes, all of the children’s sports and activities, and the youth camp. The staff is always friendly and the YMCA centers are always clean.
Activities are enjoyable and make one feel comfortable.
I love the senior classes with Tom. I love making friends qnd when we get together for bingo and break bread as a family.
Helping people and children use their time wisely and how to be safe healthy and happy.
The number of different machines
The convenience…1mile from my house. I wish they’d open the pool this year..fingers crossed! I would like a dance class for seniors in the am hours.

Pretty good schedule of class opps for a smaller club. Think a water fountain with bottle filler if missing would be a nice addition. Pickleball, too.
