As someone who attends some of the group classes the instructors and other members really care about each other.
I like the Health programs, Dash/Healthy Living they offer for the seniors. The facilitators are professional, caring ,very knowledgeable and give a lot of good information they listen to the seniors and give us a chance to ask questions. The activities are good.
All of the activities are fun and educational

We generally use the pool, so I can’t give much feedback on other programs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lifeguards are helpful and we have taken our kids to the Y for swimming lessons in the past. The lessons increased their confidence in swimming and I appreciate the requirement for the kids to take a swim test each time they come. They see it as an achievement and it makes them remember how critical it is to pay attention to their surroundings and actions in the pool.
I like that the Texans Y is in my neighborhood and that I can take advantage of the fitness center. When my son was a teen, he participated in the basketball teams the Y offered. Prior to COVID-19, I participated in the group fitness classes. I have not since quarantine because I do not believe any groups classes in a closed environment without making are safe. The staff members are friendly and professional.
Zumba class and Step classes are great. There are still plenty of machines to work out on even during peak hours.
Very good programs and activities for members and guests of all ages, including seniors.

They have lots of activities for kids, tons of classes and a great place to do cardio, weights, etc. The facility is very clean and the staff's great!
