We love the congenial and friendly atmosphere, the wealth of exercise equipment and classes. The YMCA is a great place for someone wanting to get in good physical shape and stay there.

Variety
Like the masters swim class but wish they would clean the pool better. There is a lot of yucky stuff on the bottom of the pool!
Over the years we have used many of the programs. I currently use the personal training and pool.
We have been pleased with the location.

Some of the classes are two times with different teachers.
We love the Active Older Adults programs. The two directors, Maureen and Catherine work so hard to plan exciting and fun events for the older adults. The day trips, Lunch & Learn, Food & Forum, Social hours, different outings are wonderful.
We also enjoy the classes for the Older Adults.
The YMCA Shadow Bend is a fun to attend. Exercise, social activity, meeting new friends.

Water aerobics- great teachers!
Tha Shadowbend Y provides not only exercise but fellowship and fun. My life would be much poorer if I was not able to attend. Most weeks I am there at least 5 days per week.
I love the space, the professionals, in everything.

Lots of zumba and yoga classes. But I would like to see some classes during the 12-3

Nice facility, excellent instructors, and a good selection/time of classes.
The staff are very friendly, warm and helpful, the programs and activities are a good deal for the price and the facility is well maintained. The safety hazard of the medicine ball tower in the weight room has been rectified (although it took a while from the first time I reported it) and there now appears to be more room for floor workouts in the weight room (one of the huge cardio machines has been removed from that area ...hope it's not coming back).
Senior programs of all kinds kinds: aquatics, yoga, Zumba, tai chi, etc.

The people, ALL VERY HELPFUL
I like the early morning classes, especially the spin. I commute so I have to work out early in the morning. It would be nice if there we more early morning classes during the week.
