Like the masters swim groups!
They’re reasonably priced and convenient for working parents. They help build confidence in children.
Our grandson lost weight playing basketball at the YMCA. His speed increased and his hand to eye coordination improved.
He had never played the sport before and by the second season, his team won the championship. They had not won any games-just tied once, but something clicked at the end. They started to trust each other and work as a team. They won the last games and went on to be champs on the third game.

You have water aerobics for seniors early in the morning which we prefer. You have sweet, attentive lifeguards and maintenance/admin people who keep tha pool and locker room and hot tub clean and working. There are lots of great programs for active seniors. I’m grateful for/to the Woodlands YMCA❤️
You offer a variety of fitness classes for older adults. There are many times to choose from also.
Like the wonderful senior programs, lunch n learn with informative speakers, the day trips (when we can go), and the yearly long trips. Also the coffee hours where we can meet people, the friendly, stable staff.
I like the instructors. They are informed and go the extra mile to be helpful. I think the Balance Program has helped me to be safer and stronger. The yoga instructors are excellent.

Good instruction, friendly atmosphere, and convenient schedules.
I mostly use the Y for classes. I especially like Pilates (mat and reformer), yoga, core, and body pump.

I Ike the fellowship we have there, we have a schedule each month of things the Y offer for our senior group to attend.
I like the senior classes, getting us older people out and doing exercises that we probably would not do if we just stayed home.

I am very excited that you now offer Tai Chi, a class I have requested for several years. Most of all, I am grateful for having the Y and for the people in charge that provide such a beautiful variety of classes and are responsive to customer requests.
Variety of classes and times offered plus the quality of instructors. Denise, Sarah, Ericka, Natalya & Cindy are wonderful.

Nice people. There are some excellent instructors.
I enjoy the water classes.
I love cycling and yin yoga.Both instructors are very motivating and helpful. I love Melissa's dance classes, I wish to have dance class not in the gym. I am not found of the big gym at all. Love the receptionists smile and care. Love the occasional coffee. And so happy to see the senior crowed, it is really a great place. Happy I have two facility close by me.
Shadowbend YMCA has become my personal health and fitness go-to place to work and reach my goals the way I want to. Everyone is helpful, welcoming and encouraging.
This is my first time to join a gym membership program and enjoy being a part of Allistar's Cardio Workout Group. It is a good fit for me. I can work at my own pace with Allistar and others cheering me on.
I've invited a friend to come and join in with us. I'm certain she's making the right choice.
