I mostly use cardio machines and use the weight room. I do like the other weight room across from the desk. New equipment which I love Plenty of room to work out.
The price is affordable and the variety of programs offered is more than many places that are more expensive.

I enjoy the classes. I regularly attend: yoga, Body Flow, and Body Pump. The instructors are excellent.

Convince of schedule
I'm overall happy with variety of activities and choices for fitness. I would like to recommend adding some different machines that increase the "fun" of working out. For example: There is an ab machine on the market that is also a basketball/hoop shot game. You complete a crunch then shoot a ball at a basket. Machines that have built in games I'd guess you say. Something to make working out a little more entertaining. Especially the cardio machines. Maybe on a stationary bike we have an interactive screen to race the computer. Not all machines can have that I realize. Another idea would setup machines to track a points system. When a person sits down at a machine they either scan their barcode or type in their fitness ID number. Then have a main computer system that tracks points for competitions for fun. Strictly voluntary of course. The YMCA can have fun little "goals" then give out a small inexpensive prize for hitting your points goal. That would give extra motivation for gym go-ers. Just brainstorming ideas on how to better modernize the fitness areas.

I have always enjoyed the water classes but feel very unsafe now having to go through the very slippery shower area to access the pool. Someone is surely going to fall with this scenario. I would hesitate to recommend the classes with this requirement.
