Member Testimonials
This very clean location has an abundance of hours for the indoor pool, along with gracious, efficient staff . Well done !!
Everything is kept so clean.
I have been a member of the Y for a couple years. As a senior, there is no better deal. I really enjoy most of the teachers and the wide range of activities available. I appreciate that there are the Forever Well classes designed for seniors in addition to access to many other classes. I also love that there are classes such as mahjongg, pickleball, book club, etc. The Y really offers many opportunities addressing most aspects of health and wellness. The site is very well maintained also.
Variety of group exercise classes & number of classes offered
Forever Well
I like how clean this YMCA is, and how many programs it has. I really appreciate the indoor pool too.
I really enjoy the water aerobics classes; I just wish there were some offered in the evenings.
Lots of classes and variety of classes and excellent instructors.
I like the variety and the times that classes are offered. I also appreciate the virtual class options. HOWEVER, I'd really like to see more deep water aerobics classes in the schedule.
Everything
I love the classes and the leaders.
I would also love for classes to start on time.
I enjoy the variety of exercise equipment.
Lots of offerings
Friendly staff
Workouts are at your own pace
I love the child watch and the selection of cardio and weight lifting machines.
It is a very clean facility, and no one bothers you. Everyone is nice and respectful, and no matter how busy it is, there is always a machine available to use, plus there is a wonderful path behind the gym you can use to walk or run, and just take in nature and relax.
Instuctors and options
Great group exercise for seniors mainly M, Tu, Th, F in the morning.
Availability of personal trainers and the indoor pool.
Everything well organize and explain
The variety of programs/activities
I do like the Tues-Thur 10am deep water aerobics as well as the 7am on Wednesday tose two instructors are more focused on moving through the water with a small amount of use of the equipment) The other deep water classes do not move thru the water enough. Both of those instructors tend to use all of the equipment (noodles, barbells and kick boards) and do not concentrte enough on getting heart rates up. I personally would leave using the equipment to the shallow water classes (similar to what happens at the 7:15 am class on Thursdays).
Gives the opportunity to meet and know more people
The instructors are motivational but also reasonable in their expectations of seniors -- also flexible about what individuals can or cannot do. The camaraderie is good in the group, too.
I enjoy the machines but would like to have some that are more "sized for women or smaller individuals. The track is great too!
Very nice facility.
The trainers are very professional and take time to make sure everyone understands the instructions and that they are very clear and easy to follow.
It’s about building families that’s great
Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. Clean facility and locker room. Plenty of options regarding activities and equipment.

I am most likely to participate in yoga and aquatics. The instructors are top notch. Facilities are spacious and well maintained.
My only complaint are that the yoga mats need to be on a cleaning rotation. I know people are supposed to clean them, but…. I think you could toss them in the hot tub and let them dry in the sun.
The pool deck needs to be brushed on a regular basis. Somehow, it has gotten dropped from the guards duty list.
