I like the pool area alot, however recently I feel like the pool is not as clean as in the winter.

There is always a workout class that you can join in through out the day and evening, and there are so many activities for the children as well.
I use the pool only. The water temperature is challenging most of the time. Would like to see it be a few degrees warmer
I just love the variety of programs offered to members and just the gym overall, there is always a machine available no matter how busy the gym is.

My son does flag football and loves it, as well as we use the gym and workout classes and enjoy those as a family and we finish every workout with the pool.
The Tuesday and Friday yoga classes at 8:30 AM with Cynthia are the absolute best classes I have ever taken at the YMCA. Cynthia stresses good form, safety, and uses a pace which allows all class participants to attempt every pose. She is a wonderful teacher.
I also attend the Forever Well cardio-strength class with Carolyn on Monday mornings at 10 AM. We absolutely need another of these classes on Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Carolyn plans the choreography of this class to be safe and accessible to the many people who attend, yet it is still a workout that "breaks a sweat" when done at a personally challenging level. She includes variations and cautions to ensure safety. It is my favorite of the three similar offerings at this time slot on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for this reason.
The Wednesday class in Studio A is too crowded for the room, and the instructor plans complex choreography which can be dangerous at a fast pace with so many participants. It would be better in Shindeldecker.
The Friday class is a solid offering, but I generally do not have time to stay for both the yoga class at 8:30 am and the 10 am Forever Well class. I would love to see a Forever Well class offered on Tuesday at an early afternoon time or on Thursday morning or early afternoon at Shindeldecker where there is plenty of room.
Great facility, large area for weight training and exercises. Very nice, clean, modern and friendly courteous staff. The only suggestion would be to open the pool/hot tub earlier, 3pm (instead of 4pm) if possible.
The varied group classes with energizing teachers.

There are group exercise classes that allow seniors to participate & enjoy! The facility is clean & organized, with staff welcoming you each time you arrive.

I have recommended the YMCA to my mom who is 85 as I just tried a forever well class and thought this would be perfect for her!

Gym equipment, pickleball, and youth activities.
Loads of varied activities and equipment. Great instructors (if you want live class) but the opportunity to do virtual when live classes are not available. I have been a member of this YMCA since 1987 and I wouldn't consider going anywhere else!
The senior classes are awesome.
