The only part of Trotter Family YMCA better than the facilities is the staff.!
Always friendly and helpful.

Workout machines, treadmill etc, garden, staff!
The variety, however it is challenging to have a stress free workout when the person next to you is chatting away on a cellphone. Bring back the “take your call in the hall” rule.
Everything!!!! Especially the Staff. A wonderful place!!!!
Programs for seniors, pickleball
We love the Y and appreciate all the programs, activities and opportunities you offer for our community.
I have been a member of the YMCA for over 30 years starting at the facility at Clay Road when I lived in SpringBranch. Now that I’m in Rosenberg, I still come to Houston to attend church at Second Baptist on Woodway which is close to Trotter. For the past six months, I’ve enjoyed Pickleball as a great way to exercise and socialize. I do enjoy the Trotter Ymca for the covered parking-the cafeteria, the whirlpool in the men’s locker room, and lifting weights. The one thing I miss is an indoor swimming pool. I would like to have extended hours on the weekend ,closing at 6 o’clock is way too early. I am always the last one to leave.
I like the entire facility, especially the women's only area.
I like all the activities and work out facilities.
Good instructors and location..
Your classes and facilities are excellent.
Daily swimmer and the pool staff and guards are great! Pool director is very responsive to our needs and communicates well. Pool is very clean and temperature is perfect. Only issue is Men’s locker room whirlpool and steam room constantly breaking down and out of service frequently. Needs better attention and maintenance and ready available parts and service
Great instructors lots of programs and variety good pool good outdoors
As a general rule ... great Front Desk Staff !
Yet, been a YMCA member since 1963 - Boston !
For those needing the quick math: Started when I was 14 yrs old.
This is Fiscal 2024. Kinda says it all !
So friendly and great classes and amenities. at Trotter location.
I participate in cycling mostly with Jeff. He is always helpful and encouraging during the cycling activity. My wife does weight training and Zumba activity. We travel frequently and always participate anywhere there's a YMCA. Thanks!
I haven’t had time to sign up for any programs or activities yet, but as soon as I can I would.
I like my trainer and I like using the equipment.
The availability of the pool has been instrumental in maintaining my mobility and flexibility. I swim almost daily as my PT regimen and the professionalism of the lifeguard staff members who man that chair tower in cold, in rain, in wind, and in heat have earned my respect and my gratitude.
Pool aerobics classes led by Erin and Shavon are tailored to the needs and enjoyment of class members who share mutual support and great camaraderie both in and out of the water.
I enjoy Silver Sneakers and Strengthening classes. Wish you had Tai Chi class. I found this helpful for aging citizens.
The community is great and the staff is friendly.
I like that there is a variety of programs/classes. It is a shame that the power yoga class has been cut to just one day a week. I also don’t understand why a lot of times the Les Mills virtual classes get canceled.

We have loved the Trotter YMCA for 6.5 years and running. It is MORE than a place to stay fit. Family /friends feel is very nice. Caring people through out the facility. POSITIVE vibes radiate in this building! God bless the YMCA!!
Always clean and wonderful staff!! Love the women's center option.
If I had one suggestion, please consider adding more weight options to the preloaded bars. There is 20lb, 30lb, 40lb, and on, but I have noticed other YMCA's have 20lb, 25lb, 30lb, 35lb and on. Does this make sense?
Love this Y!! Thank you for all yall do!
