Accessibility
I like the variety of activities
Lots of options, all are welcome, clean, relaxing, good place for a workout or to socialize - or both together! Convenient parking. Staff are welcoming and helpful.
group classes
Need facilities upgrade in locker areas.
Excellent weight room. Y could use more elliptical machines with TV screens. Excellent staff led by Monica Ward. It appears that recent staff reductions have been overly aggressive because at times there are not enough people to adequately monitor the second floor.
nice staff, swimming pool, steam room
The wide variety of programs, adaptable to all skill levels, provides a place for anyone to participate. The facilities are excellent. But most importantly, the staff are outstanding. There is a true feeling of welcome from the time you walk in the door to when you leave.
A good number of activities to choose from.
Monica & her crew, Chris, Danny & Ashley are very welcoming and friendly.
I like the pool , the large pool . I like the fact that parking facilities are easy to get in & out of .
The large work out area with weight machines, treadmills, etc..
I love the group exercise classes, especially Zumba. I also try to use the weight machines a couple times a week, but I prefer group exercise classes.
The camaraderie of the people who are members. Have made many great friendships since joining over 5 years ago.

Senior exercise
Parents night out, child watch, gym
Love your facility, nice and clean. Friendly staff.
all of the group class instructors are great.
Excellent in all measures
The instructors are amazing. The zumba class is one of the best ones I have seen. It is a very welcoming and motivating environment. This is one of my favorite YMCAs in Houston
Lots of options
I love playing racquetball at Trotter Y. I play doubles with a group of 6 guys twice a week! Are there plans to upgrade the courts with ruggedized glass back walls and lights, like other modern courts? That will draw more players.
I like the Balance yoga type classes. Also I'm interested in joining pickleball. The reason why l like the ymca is the variety of classes to choose from so you never get bored exercising.
I am disappointed to hear the womens only exercise area is closed. It was a peaceful way to unwind after a long day at work. Sometimes you need a place to process the day without a lot of distractions. The women's workout area was that sanctuary of solitude to workout in peace. Please reconsider and extend the hours to 8:30.
Diversity of programs
Equipment
Service orientation of staff

I am disabled, but ambulatory.
For the time being, I exclusively use the steam room / jacuzzi. It usually is not overcrowded, and the other members are courteous.
While predominantly white, the membership is multiracial, multiethnic, which I find has developed into an engaging, pleasant club environment.
I would point out that the club also has an elevator, for members use to get between floors, including from the main lobby down to the lower level, where these spa services are.
Although the distance is only a half floor, it is very helpful because I have uncomfortably bad knees.
The club also has handicapped parking outside, which usually is available.
