Lap pool swimming is my activity. Pool has been nice and have been getting communication about closure, etc. lately which is very helpful. Only issue is the whirlpool in men’s locker room/shower has been closed due to repairs that seems to be more frequent and disappointing to members wanting to use the whirlpool which is a nice amenity for Trotter

We are so happy that we decided to become members of the Trotter YMCA. Everyone here is kind, professional, and welcoming. From day one, we have been treated like family.
The instructors are always positive, encouraging, and ready to cheer you on, even on days when you're not giving 100%. The Trotter YMCA is very diverse, and we've made many great friends here. Everyone treats one another with respect, which creates such a positive and supportive environment.
We truly enjoy being here. In fact, many times the staff practically have to remind us that it's time to leave because we're having such a great time! Of course, they always do so with kindness and respect.

My husband and I enjoy classes designed for seniors. In particular we like Mimi’s Silver Sneakers class on Wednesday. Every time she subs for another instructor we make sure we attend.

Besides doing some exercises you can meet nice people and every month there's an out of town activity.

Variety and good quality of instructors.
Wish you added some shade for the soccer games for kids benches. With the TX heat it is a safety concern. Also, the pavilion could fit at least two dedicated pickleball courts. Baseball private lessons are taking too much real estate for a select few members who take advantage of it. That said Trotter is an excellent YMCA and my kids have participated in programs there for many many years and are a core part of their childhood!
Spinning, yoga, pool
The Forever Well programs are geared for active seniors like me who are looking to make new friends, socialize, and learn something new. Elena Dinkins is an excellent director who always looks for new and interesting things for us to do. She has added chair yoga, added a game day and has medical professionals give talks about medical issues that are pertinent to people in our age bracket. Hooray for Elena!
I haven’t participated in anything g but working out, but will try one.
Group Exercise Classes, Amenities, pools, other group activities
Love teachers and classes. Enjoy Lacy’s Cardio Combo class and would love for her to teach more often - maybe Wed or Fri.
