Going to Wildrock is and has always been a pleasurable experience for me. I've relied upon them since doing my Outdoor Adventure Education program at Fleming College. Their staff are warm, courteous and knowledgeable. Their prices are competitive with the larger stores in Toronto and Oshawa. I shop by the motto; "buy cheap, buy twice." I would rather pay a little more on the front end, and not need to replace it in a year. The equipment I've purchased from Wildrock has been used day in and day out for 2+ years and still going. Quality matters. Wildrock reflects this in their product line, service and ethos.

Love the personal attention from sales staff who don't act as if they are needing to make the sale. I have way more confidence in their opinions. It feels as if I am visiting friends when I pop in there even if I'm just browsing and not buying something every time.
Selection, brands. Staff are largely helpful and well-meaning. Occasionally have had seriously crossed wires situations with staff though. Has always worked out, but there have been some confusing and slightly distressing situations in the past two years.
