It is always a pleasant experience coming in to the NE Y. The Staff make sure they know my name when I check in, and I appreciate it. The facility is also typically very clean. The only thing I would ask, and I have mentioned this to staff there on many occasions but to no avail, is that cup holders for ALL for all of the elliptical machines be on the side bars rather than in the middle under the display screen. I cannot tell you how many times I have almost lost my balance while using the machine and reaching down for drink of water!

Family friendly
I like the instructors the best!! My favorite is the lady who teaches body pump om Thursdays at noon! Glenda the zumba instructor.
Middletown is a smaller version. He staff is very friendly and willing to help!
I appreciate the way the YMCA swim program advances the children’s swimming skills in a step by step way. Each new challenge builds on the last one. Also the instructors are always very kind, encouraging and proficient.

Pickleball
Pickelball is the reson I joined the Y and I really love playing there. Theresa does a great job with the organization of the courts and is very accommodating. Everyone there is nice and really a pleasure to play with.
The Middletown YMCA has always had the best staff. They are friendly and do their best to make everyone feel welcome. The facility is relatively small with limited equipment, but it is always maintained, and clean. This Middletown YMCA gets a large crowd of older athletes for its Silver Sneakers program which is awesome. One day, we will all get to that point in our lives and it is great knowing the YMCA has a place for us to continue to be active and engaged in the community. Keep up the good work.
