Calypso Cove is such a fun park in which to splash and play with the children. I was surprised to find, however, that several aspects were not working. \
Here's the list of what didn't work:
The bucket over the cast away island not working as well as
the water pipe
no water on the little tube and little slides
vortex pool.
We hope these are repaired soon so we can enjoy the full benefit of what we paid for.
The life guards are attentive and the place is very clean. Attendants at entry and the snack bar were very pleasant.
Kiddos love it.
Maybe have volunteers or other staff interact with the kids like for 10 mins every hour or so ? Just a thought

We like calypso cove a lot

It’s clean and well kept…but the biggest disappointment would be the guest policy.
I have a single senior membership, and I’m unable to bring my toddler grandson for just a little while; without pain and enormous guest pass fee; which is a financial hardship.
It’s disappointing because when he is staying with me, unable to take him to Calypso Cove just a little while. I only wish there was more flexibility in the guest policy and it wasn’t so expensive to bring a small toddler a couple of times for a little while.
Most of all the friendliness and helpfulness of everybody. But also the great diversity in several areas: gender, class, race, ethnicity, age--a real reflection of our diverse society. The amazing choices and times of challenging and fun exercise classes--something for everybody.
Great facilities combined with qualified instructors insure that the lessons will be successful. I participated in YMCA swimming programs when I was younger so I expected the skill level to be very high. It has exceeded my expectations
Staff is really nice, facilities are clean, equipment works. A great place
I like the friendly atmosphere that seems to resonate throughout the Northeast building of the YMCA. I like the new layout, flooring, painting of walls in the weight and machine areas. It seems to be quieter. I don't like the fact that there are still so many clients that continue to use cell phones to play when other folks are waiting to use a particular piece of equipment. I also have notice lately that there are a number of under age 16 children, mostly boys, going around playing with different workout equipment and the Y workers do no say something to them. By the way, they are not brought in there by a a supervising adult. They just do haphazardly from one piece of equipment to whatever fits their whim.
I have noticed that there has been a great effort to make sure the showers in the men's locker room are supplied with soap-this is something I have complained about consistently.
I have noticed that the night crew does not clean the floor in the men's locker room because the same piece of paper, tag or whatever remains there for more thane one day. Given all this seems to suggest a negative feeling about the Y, but that is absolutely not the case. I could not feel more positive about the Y. The Y is my place that keeps me healthy at 87.
