I will always support the YMCA, because I have previously worked for YMCA organizations here in Louisville and in Arizona and I was at the foundation of the great work our nationwide YMCA's take part in. I will always be a YMCA member and supporter!
The facility is clean and multi-purpose with equipment and activities for all ages. The staff is friendly and well trained. The hours are convenient.

Relaxed attitude toward rules. Love that guests can bring own food and eat anywhere poolside. EVERYTHING is so expensive theses days n it is nice and a huge relief not to be charged more for food/snacks than need be and not forced to buy sold food at the pool We love it there and appreciate that things haven’t changed. Very clean, very spacious well maintained.
We are so happy that things are back to normal at Calypso. Before the pandemic calypso was a multi day staple for our family every week so the scheduling system last year really made it hard on our large family (4 kids under 8) due to trying to schedule both child care and caylpso. Also, we are thrilled that Jamie is in charge over there now. She is a wonderful person and we know she totally has the mission/values of the Y at heart!

Plenty of seating (we came both when they opened, as well as mid-day the following day. We all loved it! The snack bar has reasonable prices and good food as well- my kiddos are obsessed with the pretzels and cheese!
The childcare
Staff is friendly and there are amenities for every age and interest.
All the different options the Y offers, water aerobics, forever fit classes, treadmill, etc
I love that there are so many things to do there and for my child.
We love how safe and clean the cove is. You can tell it is managed well and the lifeguards are well trained.
Variety of classes and times. The managers are great. Zumba and Body Pump instructors are really good.
Group fitness classes
Attention to cleanliness in Women's locker room as well as common areas. Love therapy pool and sauna. Savanah rocks.

Introducing kids to new adventures and having them interacting with different kids. Every day they get a live outside the "box" at camp

You are convenient, you have all the the equipment I will evdr need and you have good hours.
