I like the access to my house and the availability of the machines I want to use. It could be enhanced by increasing the area for weights. A second area of about the same size is probably needed.

Overall I enjoy the facility and the staff is nice and friendly. The thing I dont like is the limited variety of cardio equipment. There are plenty of treadmills. However, everything else limited.
When it comes down to broken equipment, it's taken 3 months or more to get repaired. For example, there are only 5 recumbent bikes and 2 of them are broken.

I have been coming to the Ymca for a while I really enjoy it. I like the atmosphere the friendliness the staff very considerate I have no complaints.
I have really enjoyed the Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday morning water aerobics classes. You have great instructors who challenge the class. Your lifeguards are top notch in that they are careful to monitor during and after class as well as during lap swims (in which I also take part). The pool has been well maintained, and everyone is very friendly and helpful. It would be nice to see the clock/lap timer in the pool area working again.
The Benbrook community YMCA is a clean, friendly, safe facility with close by, safe ample parking. There is a welcoming chemistry between personable staff & members that encourages fitness efforts. It's one fo the few public places to encounter people of all ages, genders, ethnic backgrounds, cultures, etc. Many popular classes offered.

We love the Benbrook Y. The staff is great. The equipment is extensive and maintained. There are lots of opportunities on their calendar to get involved with others, and the events we have participated in have all been very enjoyable. We love the pool also.
