I use the Benbrook Community Center YMCA pool to swim laps, and it serves this purpose quite well. I use the Amon G. Carter, Jr. Downtown YMCA for weight training; it is closer to my home requiring less travel time.
Excellent facility with a wide choice of good classes and very good instructors.
I love the indoor track except for the occasional 2-3 people who walk in the afternoon and don't follow the courtesy rules. It's the same people every time. They walk side by side and walk slow and constantly talking so every time you want to pass them you have to say excuse me or wait for them to scoot over. Very inconsiderate especially for those who run on the track. They need to get the chit chat over before they get on the track. Other than that the staff is always nice and it's clean. It's a great facility
We enjoy the exercise programs that are designed for seniors.
The instructors are all fantastic not only do they know their subject matter. They’re extremely efficient at making sure everyone in the class understands and it really makes me feel valuable.
We mostly just come to walk and exercise.

The pickleball courts are so nice and the people that play there are so helpful.

Enjoy the many services and equipment offered- from gym equipment, aquatics, group classes and outdoor recreation activities.

Safety! No issue walking in hot days. No crime! Pool available. Help from staff if needed. Running on machines. Weight tools available. Clean every thing!

The people are friendly. Facility is clean. Good hours of operation and lots of classes to choose from.
Some improvements needed: A/C appears to be leaking (tile damage and occasional water dripping). Machines out of order seem to take longer than normal to get fixed. Minor annoyance is people sitting on phones scrolling while taking up a machine. It would be nice if that could be addressed.
Overall, I am very happy to be a member and to have such a good, clean, place to work out. Really appreciate the staff and trainers!!
