What do you like about our programs and activities?

I love the YMCA Values and all that they stand for. It is truly a community organisation dedicated to helping others of all ages, financial status, race and religion. It offers a variety of workout rooms and equipment, a variety of classes ranging from low intensity workouts to high intensity workouts, water aerobics, day care for those who need it, a lounging area that offers other members to simply talk in a casual atmosphere over free coffee, plus many other amenities. It is a facility where a person/family can grow closer together with others. Being physically and mentally healthy involves many things and the YMCA offers a lot of what is required by our bodies and minds. Keep up the good work and help it grow even more.

Love Love the pool for exercises. Like the exercise bikes, weight resistant machines, and think the gym is important.

I like the shallow/deep water aerobics class taught by Sue. She is very friendly and keeps us moving in the water and it is fun.

I also like swimming laps during "lap swimming" sessions.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I feel very comfortable at the MELyons YMCA. The staff, instructors and members are all welcoming and very friendly.
I can tell the management is trying hard to increase the amount of group exercise classes available, but it’s a struggle for them since the instructors are only available certain days and times, while hiring more instructors is hard on the budget and they don’t want to hire anyone unqualified.

I use your pool pool when I have doctor appointments down that way otherwise I go out to the one in Clermont but it’s nice is bright it’s cheerful and I loved being with you through the glass doors into the pool so you know who’s coming in the doors your light so you can get through them with a walker

Friendly and helpful front door staff always greet you with a smile and welcome.
I especially enjoy group exercise Silver Sneaker classes with Nicole. She is wonderful and I look forward to attending most every day.
I also like chair Yoga class with Ashley but that is just once a week and I wish there was more Silver sneaker Yoga classes.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

We love the availability to swim. Especially indoors. It matters less with the grandsons, but I walk with another member, 96 yrs old, during the day 2-3 times a week. The warmer water is what makes it possible for her.
Please get the stairs fixed for the outdoor pool so I can't get in and out.
LOVE the shower doors and fixtures!!! Thanks so much for that!
Your desk and admin staff are fantastic and always helpful.
