I love the senior citizen classes. Fellowship and new friendships are made.
That they are there.
Improvements:
* Repaint directional areas in lanes on parking lot. It seems some drivers cannot figure out the angles of the angle parking is the direction flow. Or, maybe you can wait until a person gets struck by a car because the pedestrian does not look to see of someone is coming from the "wrong" direction.
* Monitor the spray bottles in the fitness center, especially on the weekends. Too often they are empty, and most of the time they don't work.
* Somehow monitor cell phone use in the fitness center. For some reason too many users think that the benches that one sits on to use a weight machine are there to sit and play with their phones. If ya ain't move it, move off!
Actually I haven’t tried any
Easy and convenient. Family friendly
Staff & members friendly & helpful
So far we have only taken real advantage of the group swimming lessons for school aged children and open swimming. We really like the instructors for the swimming lessons. They have been very friendly and our kids have enjoyed working with them. I really like the smaller class sizes even though we have had classes with up to 9 kids per instructor. However, our kids have still greatly benefited from these lessons.
Such a great variety of programs!
There are a lot of various activities. Someone would always be able to find something to participate in.
The Class and instructor People I’ve been meeting.
indoor pool not too cold in winter
All good!
I like the variety of classes offered!
Ms Ann did a fantastic job teaching our daughter to swim
that there are classes for seniors.
Great place and friendly helpful front desk personel. We recommend the Lyons Y to all our friends. We come in everyday for at least our 30 minute work walk on the treadmill. "A walk a day keeps the Dr away" !
Thanks for making the Y our must stop place everyday!

Equipment is great. Facility is clean. Participants are friendly. It is a wholesome environment. A great place to meet old friends and make new ones. One feels a welcome spirit at the Lyons YMCA. Haven't expierenced instructional classes, but have been told the instructors are good. Have been encouraged by a fellow member to join one of the yoga classes. I enjoy meeting with friends after workout for a refreshment as we sit and solve the world's problems.
pretty comprehensive
Pickel ball
Staff, cleanliness, pickleball opportunities,
good facilities, good people, good all around
Aquasize Sue and Mark are great.ifvI miss the class I like that there are still open swim times to come and work out
except when they are shut down, like they are recently going to be doing, I can usually find a time to get my exercise in.
All the fun, exercise, and meeting new people. The staff is always helpful and very nice.
The staff and members that I engage with are glad to be there and that feeling draws me in. The instructors are the reason the classes keep filling up, the atmosphere is friendly and inviting and the classes are attainable.
bikes
Professionalism in every way.
I use the pool for lap swimming 4 to 5 days a week.
I like the offerings of Silver Sneakers and things some older Adults can participate in.
I enjoy the Silver Sneakers programs. Good cardio and aerobic workout.

everything is great but the indoor pool, other Y's and other fitness places have decent indoor pools, but not Lyons YMCA
