Lots of variety although recent staffing has limited some classes and workout times, especially in the pool.
Variety offered. Wish the gym would open earlier is my only wish
The class I attend is a great workout but presented in a safe way for seniors. I am meeting people who are reaching out to talk.
The variety of activities for all age groups and abilities
Excellent variety of activities.
The pool. Walter walking lane and Sue Browns exercise Class.
swimming
My kids could have swimming instructions while I was at work and it added a break to their daycamp day.
Great instructor, work well teaching my child the swimming skills he needed and First name removed had fun
I love the aquatics area of pool. Would like times extended with more lifeguard coverage.
They are Great!
The exercise room!! The showers, locker room.
I don’t use the programs. I like to use the weight machines and elliptical or bike.
Have not experienced any yet
My son's instructor, Matt, is very good! He has so much patience and makes so much progress with the kiddos (despite their best efforts to push back as much as possible). I applaud him for his efforts.
I love the teachers attitudes with swimming lessons, We have had Matt a couple of times and Sydney and their level of patience with our daughter is impressive.
The instructors (and everyone attending) are all helpful and welcoming to newcomers.the entire facility is very friendly environment.
Enjoy all your yoga classes.
We are old and now it is difficult to be present at the Y. Hoping the covid-19 thing resolves itself. We have continued with our membership while not participating but we can't keep that up forever. Pray that things get better for both of us.
I like the water and Silver Sneakers exercises.
I went to the orientation of the fitness center and it was very helpful.
Programs for young kids available.
Swim and exercise
We love the child care staff and the ability to have child care while we workout!
Aquatics
Plenty of times available
its all good.
Fun and stress free
I enjoy the cohesive efforts on behalf of the people I meet at the Y to stay as healthy as possible despite our age. I am an older member but there are OLDER and I learn so much on our social interactions.
Also GREATLY appreciated are staff members Sue Brown of Aquatics and Vev at the Front Desk.
Sue has kept the Aquatic Exercise Program from floundering for over 20 years and her classes are probably the most frequented in the building. Vev is a cheerful AND knowledgeable presence at the Front Desk who had ALSO been around for many years.
Their continued presence is a welcome sight in the midst of all the turnover at the M.E. Lyons facility.
