The pool is kept at a lower temperature than the other Y's. It could still be a little colder (80-81) but 82 is much better than most and makes it the only place reasonable for doing a swim workout.

I love the Downtown Y. Been a member since the 70s. Unfortunately, the lack of affordable parking options limits my ability to utilize the facility .
I did not engage in any programs.
I like the layout of the fitness equipment and the amount of natural light.
Lobby space is warm and inviting.
I especially like the Tai Chi and the pool of course I am not involved with the water aerobics but that looks good too!

I love the Silver Sneakers class with John. Also think the overall exercise equipment etc is wonderful!
Love the Silver Sneakers class with John. He's a fantastic motivator. I also love all of the equipment available in the gym. On non Silver Sneakers days, it's easy to do a thorough workout.

I do wish the Y would repair the holes in the wall in Studio 1. They have been there for at least 2 months. Otherwise overall maintenance is good.

Everything is up to par far as equipment great environment, feels like a more upscale experience. Also plenty of options to choose from on the machines for different workouts and tons of space so no one feels crowded or in anybody else’s way...
I like the staff. They truly demonstrate the YMCAs core values of family. Every time I walk into the Cincinnati OTR I am treated with a friendly hello and they make me feel at home. Manager George has a fantastic emphasis for a positive customer experience and going above and beyond to accommodate YMCA guest. Thank you George and OTR team for your efforts!

I love Tai Chi as taught by Master Fairbanks. It has changed my exercise life- he and Larry are most wonderful, caring men I’ve ever met.
The pool
I like the saline pool and that it is available almost each time I go there, however there have been closures due to no lifeguard reporting for duty.
Great facilities and equipment. It can get a little crowded at times and the Kettlebell selection is subpar. Perhaps, offer more class times as it seems like they're only available early morning and evening. Other than that, I love this place!
Nice, clean, large gym that is never too busy to get my workout done.
The only issue no parking. It costs me $ 2.50 extra to park for every workout. It's a downtown gym so I guess it's to be expected. It still frustrates me every time.

Very good and standard equipments
I love the group fitness classes, and the variety of classes to choose from each day. The Central Parkway Y has done a great job of catering to the working crowd in the timing of classes. All the instructors are very friendly. The gym itself is very nice and updated. I belonged here before the renovation and I'm still always impressed at the transformation every time I walk through the front doors!
This is a very nice gym only thing sucks is you have to pay for parking which is why I barely come to this ymca
