There is a variety of activities for young, middle-aged, and seniors to participate in at the Y at a reasonable cost. That's what I like about my Y experience. Good for the community.

Amazing staff, diverse and friendly members, high quality facilities, wellness.
Classes and lessons for kids--rock climbing, swimming, etc. Rock climbing wall.
Free weights and exercise machines that are easy on joints.
Kind and helpful staff members.
Everything. But going back to pre-pandemic hours and expanding the space on the fitness floor are both enormous improvements.

I've just joined the Y for the first time and so far have had a great experience swimming with my nephew and using the weight room with my partner. I look forward to returning often.
I always feel welcome at the Y.
I attend the water fitness class and even when I have not been able to attend for a period of time the instructor and class mate are always welcoming.

Great staff; friendly, helpful.
The new renovations and set up are fantastic. I’m much more looking forward to going then before. However, I have concerns the Stay and Play staff don’t tend to the children too well. My young daughter was there with two other kids and the two staff just sat up at the desk, often on their phones, not engaging with them much and yell across the room to check in on them. my one year old daughter who can’t walk could have easily gotten hurt. They were both very nice but I’d hope they’d be more present and closer to the kids to keep them safe and comfortable. Thank you!
Thought MLK breakfast was nice but put out last minute. Should have been free for all members.

We've belonged the the Y here in Maryland for 3 years & in California for at least 30 years. Good sports programs for kids & good classes for adults. Before the pandemic the class choices were better especially in California. Hopefully as things get back to normal Maryland/Baltimore area will offer more & diverse classes to their each location.
