Everything
Everything!
A wonderful place to spend time and just relax, work out, get information on resources in the community, I really enjoy the YMCA
The y is affordable for those who are kow income. They y has free programs now thank God! The y in PARKVILLE needs remodeling big time, the staff there are mostly friendly but definitely know nit much about the programs and where to meet etc. The new "cooking class/chef class" DOES NOT COOK OR MAKE ANYTHING!!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT OF THAT!!! It should get better if they take the suggestions I gave. Also you don't have to just go to 1 location you can go to them all. Overall the y is great!!!! And 33rd street has stepped up and is great!
everything!

Love the community and the support for families.
I have attended water fitness classes for 15+ years ans regardless of the instructor or the group that has been attending it has always been a positive experience. Often staff have been helpful and the other members have been inviting . I have always felt welcomed when at the Y
Family oriented. Nice, clean facility.
The y has extended its hours making it more reasonable on the weekends for your customers
My daughters had a great time playing in the pool. Very clean and friendly environment.
I have rejoin this gym since covid and they have upgraded. New machines and equipment in the open gym. I am glad the classes are back.
The various exercises, access to the swimming pool and dance classes.
It feels like community.
I love the Y! I don't know if Y staff realize that this organization plays a critical role in personal wellness and community support. The Y is one of very few places when they can get respite from the world. Some are recovering from illness, and going to a class a few times a week helps them regain their strength. Some are taking care of grandchildren or elders, and going to the Y is the only time they have for themselves. Some are in the middle of divorce. Some are newly retired. Some are starting new jobs. Some are in the depths of depression. Some are desperate to find work.
But somehow these Y members find a way to get to that Zumba class, or Body Pump. They bring their kids for rock climbing. They take some laps in the pool. Recently I saw that the Y was offering free help with filing taxes.
This is what it means to be a part of the community. Thank you.
