Community
I have enjoyed the challenge opportunity that was offered during the month of December. It encouraged me to set my own goals within the challenge goal. The additional offerings allowed additional opportunities to achieve the challenge of December. The overall experience has me looking toward other goals I can set for myself in the coming new year.
People are always friendly and it's not _too_ crowded.
I am happy with my experience there. The gym is clean and well staffed and the machines function well. All the staff are friendly. The lifeguards are capable and alert.
I think the Y has a good mission.
Honestly my issues are pretty nitpicky- I wish it stayed open longer (it used to stay open to 10 and especially 7 PM on the weekend). I wish the pool was a little more available (it often has the swim team plus swim classes)
STaff is always friendly and welcoming. Great variety of exercise equipment to accomodate any level of workout.

'The Orokawa Y in Towson has a large variety of equipment that is well maintained. Staff is professional and helpful. The facility is clean and in good condition. The facility is well worth the cost, that is, in my opinion, not overly expensive.
Friendly staff
We enjoy the welcoming atmosphere, the variety of classes, the instructors, and our fellow members.
But one comment: we understand that recent changes resulted in lower compensation for instructors and notice that at least one popular instructor has resigned. Please reconsider any policy that has such an effect. And we also understood that the recent notice about an increase in dues was partly related to compensating staff adequately.
I really like the family pool. I have COPD and it is difficult for me to work out in the gym.
Friendly staff, facilities are well maintained, a wide range of activities and programs.
A good value for the money. No semi-pro gym people grinding through their workouts. Just normal folks that are kind and polite. Lots of activities and facilities that are readily maintained, and always clean and organized. Also, no distasteful music being played during my workout. Having been a member of more than six gyms in my life, this is by far the best. Simply but efficient.

A wonderfully clean facility with all the exercise equipment and facilities imaginable. A terrific staff that is friendly inviting and helpful. The instructors of the various classes are well trained teachers who care about their participants.

I like that the Y made COVID vax mandatory for the entire staff. I like that a lot.
I like the community atmosphere, that it is a place where a great variety of people feel comfortable to meet.
I like the health support they give to those who need it and have seen staff take extra steps tp help whole might encounter momentary heath issues.
I like that they have struggled to remain open and to serve those in need i the community.
I like that classes have resumed for when they are wanted by those who are ready to resume them.
I am so impressed with the Y. Everyone is so friendly, the place is very clean and organized and the activities/classes are plentiful.
