The classes are awesome and everyone is so friendly
Staff friendly, supportive, helpful and encouraging, especially Mike.. I go during the morning hours and regardless of how long I have been gone (have a very ill adult son who is in the hospital frequently), i am always welcomed back. Staff is never too busy to assist even though I don't ask...they just seem to know. I love the Y!

The people, they are amazing!!!
Everyone is very nice and friendly. Classes are fun and helpful. Only thing is, you need better regulation of AC in the rooms. The yoga studio is either freezing or roasting, the MP room is always too hot and needs more and bigger fans and the same goes for the cycle studio. We've all complained but nothing is done about it.

Love the classes and instructors. Always a great time. Something for everyone. Just wish stay and play was available for 2 hours so I could do 2 classes at a time.

My daughter loves taking classes at the Y, especially ballet! The teachers are super sweet and enjoy what they do. The 6 and 8-week classes are very manageable for us and allow our daughter to explore a lot of different interests. We love the Ward Y!
The Ward Y in Abingdon offers great classes and convenient hours to work out. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you.

My daughter absolutely loves Y Sports Day. Initially she was afraid that she wouldn’t fit in and no one would play with her. However, when I picked her up that evening she was so happy she had gone and told me all about her activities and new friends. The Y Sports Day staff go out of their way to make all kids feel special and welcomed.
George did a great job with our son. He followed his lead as to not force him to do anything he wasn't comfortable with in the water and it made our son feel much better about trying new things that George suggested or were teaching. Great experience!

The swimming class is great. My daughter has shown so much improvement in skills and water confidence
close to home, well trained staff.
My son looks forward to swim class every week. He has progressed so much in this class. He will even go under water now.

Erica is awesome! Shes so encouraging and makes lessons so much fun! Especially being an instructor myself, it was really strange for me to be on the other side of lessons but Erica made sure to make it seem like it wasn't strange at all. We love coming to lessons (:
