I like that group classed are included in the membership. That is the main reason I became a member! The instructors are very helpful and knowledgeable.
The welcoming and helpful staff, the quality of the equipment and training and the cleanliness of the facility.
It’s clean, the staff is extremely helpful and very professional. The Y has everything under one roof no need to run to a gym uptown, then take have to take the kids downtown. The convenience of the Y and the price has made this choice a no brainer.
Only regret is I wish we would have signed up sooner, being a member has bought are family closer together.

The Y is very family-oriented, has up-to-date equipment and facilities, and is generally very clean. It is a great place to work out and to spend time with the family.
Not just enjoyed teen craze Night they had DJ water games food the kids really enjoyed it

I love the fact that you have two pools!!! The lap pool for the serious swimmers and the family pool for exercise and play.
Clean and the staff was very approachable and helpful.
The child center is awesome they are good with the kids and seem to really care!

Kaitlyn was absolutely wonderful, even when my 3 year old didn't want to participate. She was patient with him. And the last day he jumped in and wanted to touch the bottom all on his own.

My son enjoys the obstacle course and swimming for teen night and I like that it is a safe environment for my kid to have fun at.

Honestly, I really appreciate the care that Miss Virginia takes in the kids’ care room. Everytime I bring my kids, she goes the extra mile
to engage with them actively with either a game or a craft. I don’t know if she or someone else plans the craft but kudos! We’ve never belonged to a Y before that had this level of childcare and it keeps me coming back, knowing that my kids are happy and well cared for while I workout. Thank you!

The YMCA has a lot to offer everyone and all ages. However, i do wish that their family changing rooms were a little cleaner. Today my husband and i went to the pool and there was a very strong smell of urine in the dry changing room. I also experienced that earlier in the week. Im not sure if the smell is just stuck in there or if they haven't cleaned it thoroughly in a while. I also wish that there was an out door pool at the location that i go to. other than that, thus far i am really enjoying the YMCA.

I really like the personalized training. I was afraid that I would be overwhelmed and not know what to do or how use the equipment. Trainers were there to assist and explained everything. I have also attended some of the excercise classes and again found the instructors to be very engaging and fun.This is my 2nd week and so far I have enjoyed the membership and what the Y of Abingdon offers.
