A nice gym! Plenty of equipment and the environment is very family friendly. Love the stay and play for our kids....and the parent night out every other Friday is just awesome! My wife and I have been very happy so far with the Y locations at Ellicott City, Catonsville, and Pasadena. Ellicott City is a definitely the busier one but they have a ton of equipment, basketball gyms. Catonsville is little smaller but not as crowded and the classes are easier to take with no ticket required. The Pasadena location has the best pools! We use it mainly for that due to the nice outdoor pool area.....it is that nice! Overall, we pay under $100 a month for a family of five and I’m just wishing we would have did this sooner. The Y is awesome!

Donicia insured that I did my exercises correctly and gave me a typed exercise guide so I could do the exercises correctly between sessions.

I like the variety of programs/sessions offered. The hours of the Y make it accessible for so many schedules and ages. Meeting great and friendly people is a big plus for me. The Y does a lot of good with many projects throughout the year, helping people of various ages and needs.

Even though the place has changed over the years, it still has that homey feeling. Plus we now have a rock wall, fireplace, and a juice bar. The fireplace is especially nice in the winter when I am getting out of the pool. I like to sit around it with a cup of coffee after a swim.
My daughter absolutely loved the paint nite experience. The facilitators worked well with the children and families to make beautiful sea turtles on canvas. Dinner was great so we didn't have to rush and eat before attending the event. Thank you!
More treadmills appear to be more beneficial to members than bikes on the main floor..
The renovation and remodeling and rearrangement of equipment are excellent changes that made a difference for members.

I enjoy all the activities at the YMCA I attend Catonsville branch it is always clean, the staff members are always friendly and polite. And the people who also attend this branch seem to be really friendly. My main love is the fact the pool warm is never cold or freezing something I hate. Next on my bucket list is climbing the rock wall I might get up there ok but they may have to come up to get me down lol.

It was my first time at the Catonsville Branch. Very nice building, I love the open atmosphere, cafe like area. The ladies at their desk spoke immediately and helped to direct me to the right area.

I especially like the swim fit classes, which includes the instructors and the hours.
It's clean (including showers and bathrooms), accessible, affordable, one way to contribute to the community (I could go to Planet Fitness, but the Y is a better community investment), nearly all equipment is always in working order, parking is great, plenty of programming, fun/safe place for kids, staff is friendly and most often helpful, light/bright area to work out, on-line workouts are motivational.
