Very friendly and helpful personnel. Very clean. Lots of great classes.
There are different programs, staff is super friendly and welcoming
Very well run facility. Staff and class teachers are excellent.
It provides a wonderful channel for kids to play in the nature. It is a good supplement to kid's school experience. Camp is fun and safe.
The biggest issue is the locker room. It is super filthy with blocked toilets due to their old condition and trash all over the floor. My daughter has to hold her nose when in the room and has complaint about it very often.
Even if the facility and its equipments are very old, I think the camp should hire cleaning crew to clean the locker room more often than just at the end of the day.
I've been to South Tampa YMCA where it holds kids summer camps. It is an old facility too but the locker room is tidy and without not flushed toilets.
Without this issue I would give full star rating to Cristina camp.
Family friendly, but the childcare hours are not really great.
It is close to home and has everything I need to get my workouts in. I especially like the pickleball and Kelly is amazing!! Actually wish there was more dedicated space to PB
My 7 year old has been attending the Y Sulphur Springs location and absolutely loves it…& I love it for her too! She comes home happy and is excited to get up and go each and every morning which makes me feel good as a parent while working. I feel like she has grown so much in just a short amount of time. Watching her gain a new perspective on life and a new sense of confidence within herself has been EVERYTHING! The staff is amazing and truly does a great job with their program and the kids that they see and care for each day. 10/10 for me!
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facility is clean.
The summer camp for my son is very affordable and includes lots of activities, including swimming. The counselors are great and my son always seems to have a lot of fun!
I'm not sure why I have received an email for a survey for Northwest. My home gym is Bob Sierra, that is also the gym that I go to not Northwest.
I have always completed surveys for the Bob Sierra.
I am not happy with the Bob Sierra location I would love to do a survey for that location.
Thank you.
Love how much you do for Seniors. Love the programs offered, ie. Bingo, crafts and more recently Info on Falls. Unfortunately, missed them last couple of months, due to scheduling issues, so I sure hope the sponsoring companies will be able to come again.
I not only would recommend the Bob Sierra Y, I Have!
And now you have a few more members.
My son loves the camp. Great variety of things to do.
My son has so much fun when he goes to Camp Cristina.
You have many activities that meet different age needs.
As a mom who recently moved to the area from several hours away with just my two children, enrolling them in YMCA camp was a big decision. I’m very protective of my kids, so naturally I was nervous at first. However, the staff made me feel comfortable from day one.
Everyone has been caring, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My children enjoy attending, and I feel confident knowing they are in a safe and supportive environment. Moving to a new area can be challenging, but the YMCA has made this transition much easier for our family.
I truly appreciate the amazing staff and the positive experience they’ve provided. I highly recommend the YMCA to any parent looking for a place where their children will be cared for and encouraged to thrive.
Pick-up and drop-off were very smooth. Each camper had a specific wristband for the camp they were attending, which made me feel better. My kid (s) would likely attend again!
Friendly, wholesome, safe, wonderful hours and affordable. Very very thankful for the Y. Also love that there are varying camps so that I can change it up each week. My kids are there ~ 7 weeks every summer.
The staff is great, the kids stay very active throughout the summer. This is our 3rd year doing the ymca summer camp and we always come back to see Armani Blanchett!
Very clean and friendly YMCA. Everyone is helpful and there are plenty of activities for the entire family. Gets VERY busy and crowded in the weekends especially so sometimes it can be chaotic with tough parking
Graat campus, great communication, great value! My son thoroughly enjoyed it!
Kids loved it and so I did too
Everyone that works there is kind, and cares for the children. He has been going for 3 summer camps so far and will continue to. We feel comfortable and know he is safe there.
My kid loves it so much!
Love the classes, love the kids programming. Only issue is our location (South Tampa) is super crowded and it feels like we have outgrown the facility. Otherwise very happy.
My 12 year old was in the art camp last week and she thoroughly enjoyed herself! She learned so much about the different techniques and mediums all while having so much fun at the facility. She told me that she was surprised that all of the counselors learned the kids names so quickly! I think that alone made her feel welcome and seen. Thank you!
I was very nervous about my son attending camp as we hadn’t had good experiences in the past. Kaiden and Riley have been amazing with my son and have made him so comfortable. He comes home talking about all of the friends he’s made and it’s helped him come out of his shell so much.
They have worked hard with my grandson and myself, and I appreciate everything that the counselors are doing with him. He is diagnosed with ADHD and he is on medication for that diagnosis.. Everyone has been really good with him at the Y. He has been kicked out of one of your summer camps three years ago from camp Christina..So he is doing so much better. And I appreciate the group for working with him.
Reception excellent and very nice gym and pool
My daughter made great relationships she has carried on past camp in the Jr Lifeguard program. She loved her counselor Sarah! We are thankful for a teen camp at the South Tampa Y!

Tyndale, Eddie, and the rest of the crew are great with the kids. Shelby is very organized and accommodating to the kids needs and this is coming from a special needs parent :-).
