I like that the kids are learning through experiences but they are having so much fun that they don't realize they are learning. It creates an environment where kids that go to school together can stay connected with their friends and classmates, it also allows them to make new friends.
YMCA camp is a much better alternative to a summer sitter and you can tell that the weekly charges are being put back into the kids through art supplies, readying resources, field trip opportunities and more.
I like that no electronic devices are allowed and that my child is staying active throughout the day. I like the field trips to Boxerwood, the safari park, etc. and that he gets to go to the pool. I like the educational aspect also.
Great class instructors!!
My child was happy!
This is the first year that my daughter has been apart of the YMCA Summer Camp and she absolutely loves it!
If you're new in town, the Y is a great place to meet people. There are activities for all ages and abilities. I love the group exercises classes, but that's just the beginning. It's a wonderful community resource and encourage everyone to consider joining and supporting the Y.

I love the experiences that my child is able to have while visiting local places around the county. He is branching out on trying new foods and always has a great time at the pool. He loves playing games with the counselors too.
Activities were beyond what I expected. Thank you for keeping my daughter active, educated and entertained!
