I mostly use GroupX programs and prefer the step and combat classes - though I know I'm in the minority by liking those classes.
they keep my kid happy
I am able to attend primarily at midday, and the group exercise programs at that time present an excellent array of options and a strong roster of instructors.
I have already registered my comments about the need for greater cleanliness in the group exercise spaces, the main upstairs hallway, and the men's locker room with management.

a variety of classes to choose from along with convenient location and hours. Plenty of machines to choose from also.
Everyone is friendly and helpful. I love the pool activities, especially Zumba and Aerobics. After a class it's wonderful to sit in the hot tub. I always have the best night sleep after one of these days!
I like the variety of classes and the instructors are great.
Kids had a great time-great staff!
I like everything about it classes activities pool and the gym
There was a lot of variety, the counselors were very involved and always seemed to be participating with the kids. The kids seemed to be active 90% of the time, which is awesome. Camp was structured, but very fun for them!
My daughter has really enjoyed camp this summer! She is staying active while having fun and making new friends! The staff is awesome and communication this year has been great
Everything. The staff is extremely friendly and the place is always clean.

Classes and exercise room
Counselors were very engaged and eager to help the kids. Activities and field trips were awesome. The program focus on rewarding positive behavior to reinforce it and help kids make better choices. Awesome program!
My favorite class is HIT. It's always challenging, fresh, and the instructors provide great feedback on correct form.
Inclusive, age appropriate, and available for a variety of schedules and fitness levels. The Y always meets me where I am.
Good! How about sending the scale in the men's room to an antique museum? It's useless. Weights are inaccurate- It's an old doctor's office scale that was replaced 20 years ago with digital. I suspect inexpensive digital scales are on sale every day. Sad.....
Otherwise all is OK. Staff is friendly. Equipment is clean and operable. Steam room is not over heading. It's only the scales.....easy to fix....
The instructors are great and very friendly and helpful!!!
The classes are varied and lots of fun!!!
Times vary something for everyone
Wellness Center, personal trainers' help, hours, relationships developed with other members.
Weights and machines
Excellent variety of well-led classes, modern and well-kept facilities, best place in town to experience the wonderful diversity of Roanoke’s people in a positive, collaborative setting.
Very organized. Something for everyone! Clean environment. Friendly staff. Fun times!!!
Great variety and there are both early AM options and later evening options.
Everything

Pball and Rball.
The T-Th-Sa pickleball is crowded. Having the whole gym would be nice.
Good exercise equipment. My preferred place for that.
The Y is a bit cleaner than 2 years ago, was never that bad.
The basketball players continue to flaunt food, drink and litter, but much better.
Maybe consider a zumba for older folks. There is plenty of music with a beat that is not techno. And the current ones too loud, as well.
