I love that it’s a gym for all fitness levels and the many programs it offers for everyone! I love how the Y hosts community events and has lots of activities for kids. Everyone is so friendly!
strong variety
I don't know very many of the programs and activities. My main connection with the Y is lap swimming, and I appreciate that very much. The Y Splash program is really important, and the kids seem to have fun with it, as well. Friends who have children and grandchildren especially appreciate the after-school and summer camp activities. Other friends take yoga and cycling classes, and like them a lot. Oh, and I like the sauna very much, too.
What I wish were a bit better is the women's changing room. There is only one shower and one toilet that can be used by someone like me with a walker, or with a wheelchair. Why not add at least a folding-down seat to a couple more of the showers? And have at least a sign encouraging people not to use the larger toilet cubicle as a changing room, but to give priority to disabled women?
My son thoroughly enjoyed every day at camp and looked forward to it. I appreciate the very friendly staff and the variety of activities in which you all involve the children. It is just an overall great program for the summer.
Sarah Early injects enthusiasm, encouragement, humor, and exercise tips into each fitness session, keeping us wanting more and returning to attend her 10:15 class 4 times each week. Being in her class makes my day!
I like the water exercises

I attend water aerobics 3 - 4 times per week. It is the perfect exercise for me.
That they are socially active, I love seeing all my regular peeps in the morning!

Have worked out at the Y for over 40 years. Love the facilities. There is equipment for all work-out interests. Membership cost is reasonable. I have attempted to stay in shape all my life. Played sports in school. Am retired military where physical fitness is vital to survival. The Y has been an important part of my life. I often recommend the services to others.

Counsellors were great and very attentive. My daughter loved "decaf".

I love the pool. With my health condition that is the only exercise I can do. I have lost 20 pounds and my blood pressure has gone down.
