Friendly employees, they are the best!
Great people.
Local, easy to find activities I like. Great staff. Lovely facility. Great atmosphere. Works with my other life commitments; flexible times to take my favorite classes. No “competitive “ pressure; plenty of help and encouragement. Activities for all ages and abilities are offered. It s awesome!
Too many young preschoolers on track blocking walkers.
The variety of classes and times!
I like that it’s family oriented.
The work out equipment, and pool, and the whirlpool, when it's working,
Classes and open swim for kids.

Clean facility, friendly staff,
I was the people. They were welcoming and it was a great atmosphere. I had fun working out.
Everything! We love the Y!
It would be great to add a mother’s morning out or a parents afternoon out. Something that takes place during the late morning or after noon where parents can run errands or go to lunch without the kids. Similar to parents night out, but on a weekday or a Saturday afternoon.
I have Parkinson’s and take the m-w-f class when I can. Lynn Wark is an excellent instructor. I also like the Meditation class held at 1pm on
Monday’s. It also is well done.
Variiety, instructors, friendly family atmosphere
Swimming pool and whirlpool. Cozy mountain feel
How welcoming and friendly everyone is, as well as helpful when you need it.
Being very family friendly. You have so many activities for adults and children. We chose your gym over OneLife (that is right across the street) because at the Y, the kids can use the pool and older kids can do classes or machines with their parents (if they choose to). At Onelife, kids cannot do any of those things.
The Parkinson’s class is so good for my husband physically and socially. Lynn is great with everyone......she loves her class and shows it in so many ways.
The staff is always friendly and helpful...

The instructors here are the best!!! Carrie P, Kelly V, and Toni (Antoinette) are the kindest, most caring people! They work so hard to make sure that you get a great work out and have a great time. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful to make sure you have proper form so you don’t get injured. I’ve been to other Y’s before, but the Forsyth location is my favorite because of these people. I love many of the classes offered, but I wish there were more Pilates style classes. Also, I’ve taken spin classes at another Y where it was in a smaller room with dimmed lights (like a soul cycle style class) and I wish the spin classes at this Y were set up like that.
Geared to a wide range of residents.
Awesome instructors who take the time to know us and strive to help us meet our goals. Great variety of classes...something to give us a lot of choices. Monthly meal sharing is a fun way to fellowship. Love my YMCA!!!
Variety of programs
Coach approach has worked well for me .
Program consists of initial evaluation and monthly reviews for continued advancement.
Great for Post-Rehab program
Yoga class and Zumba are very good!
Amazing crew, clean, family oriented as great classes.
Love the group exercise classes so far!
All the parkinsons classes!
We love the Forsyth YMCA. The only suggestion I would make is to had a left turn signal light, trying to turn left out of the Vickery is so dangerous. I do love the fact that more late classes are being added also. I work in Sandy Springs 8:30-5:30 and I would never be able to make any 5:30,6:00 class so thanks for adding some 7:00-8:00 dance classes.
I like use of weight room and swim classes.

I like the different levels of exercise been offer during the week. Definitely helps with my motivation to keep moving. Teachers are great
