The staff is very nice and I feel a sense of community with the members as well. The pool area is spotlessly clean, the pool itself has plenty of lanes available, the water kept at a comfortable temperature even on these cold days, and I appreciate the presence of lifeguards.

I truly cannot say enough good things about Sarah R. as an instructor. She is a major reason I’ve continued my membership at the YMCA. I’ve attended Pilates classes at several locations with many different instructors, and Sarah’s teaching style stands out above the rest. Her instruction is excellent, and her warm, engaging personality makes every class both effective and genuinely fun.

They have a new program called Y 45 that offers small classes at $79 a month for Y members for unlimited activity.
Great community. Also, the weights are usually in the right place, and, usually, there isn’t a very long wait for the machines.
Excellent exercise programs with star leader Micki, who is very effective with programs we enjoy for older people, and those suffering from Parkinson’s disease. Always very welcoming and personable, she opens classes with warm up which includes leading class in reciting name of every individual as she walks among group, often about 60 people. Very patient in encouraging participation, but acknowledging some may have limitations. Y staff very efficient, for example in placing chairs needed for some classes, then removing them for classes using exercise mats. Equipment, like weights stored neatly in adjacent room. Exercise room is clean, well lit and ventilated, with windows on one wall looking over pool, and windows on another wall looking out to trees. Sign up early, or be relegated to the waiting list.
I only go there for the pool. There were some heating issues in December that appeared to have been addressed. Otherwise, it’s clean, friendly staff and has a great atmosphere.

I've been a member of this Y for 15 years. I attend group exercise classes and Studio 55 activities. Shout out to Miki for coming up with informative, interesting, and creative Studio 55 field trips, lunch and learns, and snack and chats. She has great enthusiasm for the group. All the group exercise instructors are great, but special shout outs to Norma and Rebecca for Yoga, Heather for Barre Fusion, Miki for Stretch, Nina and Jodie for Step, Sarah for Pilates, and Anna for her surprisingly challenging Barre Fusion and Pilates classes. Also, YMCA 360 is a great resource for exercise classes when I can't make it to the Y in person. I love that Miki and Anna have classes on YMCA 360.
